C'est vrai qu'il semble bien qu'Ennio Morricone ait été influencé par ce prélude pour "le clan des Siciliens". Rien ne se perd, rien ne se crée. De toutes façons, Bach est tellement fondateur ! Difficile de ne pas être un peu dans son sillage. J'espère l'être pour mes propres chansons.

Great concept and playing -- but on such bland, homogeneous registrations? We should be playing all the great baroque stuff on organ. I've used all 3 mvts of Vivaldi's guitar concerto in church ;)

J'ai un ami très cher, un certain Jean-Sébastien B., qui de Là-Haut, doit être ému jusqu'aux larmes d'entendre une aussi majestueuse interprétation de son chef-d'oeuvre en la mineur ! Often, seasoned organists who play this great Bach piece would keep the "plein d'orgue" in the free-fantasy parts of the compositions, but not Constance. Even in the final two measures, she does not go to "full organ" at the end---so this makes it a different dynamic ending--rather soft. I also hear maybe some quints/tierces in the fantasy sections.

La piece d'orgue s'appelle "La Fantasie en Sol Majeur". Ca consiste de une fantasie-libre, une grande chorale, une reprise de la fantasie-libre et une finale courte. Cette fantaisie est grand, magnifique, puissante. J'aime la "registration de plein d'orgue" en la "parte de chorale contrapuntale" en cette piece.

In both this and BWV 572 I find Ms Taillard's rhythmic vagaries disconcerting. This isn't Chopin.
