I had intended to fit mufflers to the bug and this was going to be the "before" video. Still got loud pipes and still upsetting the neighbours.

So after it spent six months gathering dust in the garage I finally spent some time on the bobber and got it looking almost complete. Then took it to my dad's and he got it started up. Sounds awesome! Still to do: Rear light, license plate, longer chain, chain tensioner, brake light, fix gremlins, anything else I've forgotten, MOT and then ride.

No, I'm keeping this as the prototype for the next one. Have a look for Craig Jones online, he started making hardtail frames for bullets and selling them. I have one for the next project. He makes real nice bikes.

Yes mate, I'll have a go. Not a kit, I used an old hardtail frame that had seen better days and nobody wanted. The distance between the front and rear wheel spindles is now 1m 55cm. Overall length about 2m 30cm. Measuring back from the headstock to the rear wheel spindle is 1m 30cm. The vertical tube is 43cm long and is 63cm forward from the rear wheel spindle. The bottom part of the rear frame measures 35cm back from the engine, angles upwards and continues another 42cm to the rear wheel spindle. Distance between the axle plates is 90cm. I hope that helps.
