Yeah I really hate the sizing on different brands. It's so annoying. I really wish they would just get together and standardize a reel size. I know that the 6ks are like the old 4ks. 10ks are like 6K. It's 14k is like the old 8K and I think 20,000 models are like the old 10K
@@fishingtampa3392 It was more the Daiwa rep I was referring to. Frankly you can use any reel for inshore or offshore, but what mainly separates the two are line capacity, sealing and durability. The drag pressure in some of these small reels nowadays are needless and more marketing hype. No need for 20lbs of drag if youre using 8-15lb line on a small 2500 reel. In the bigger sizes no more than 40lbs of drag is ever needed because 99% of people cant hold that much pressure for long periods.
Would buy if they did not use magseal.
Hi,whare can i see the service manual parts? thx
on the diawa website
Daiwa é Daiwa Parabéns mais um ótimo molinete

Size 5000.
Saltist best
Sizes should never be classified as inshore or offshore. I've caught plenty of big fish offshore with a 4000-5000 size reel
i know but i was just giving an idea for people who do not fish as often or do not know as much about fishing
