Jack looks like a bum here, you can still see his beauty, but he is getting quite dissipated by this stage. And man, the smoking, just the constant smoking seems crazy now! What was it like back then? I can onlu guess "Mad Men" comes the closest to that time period, but the smoking in MM doesn't hold a candle to what I see here!

Covers everything from the first time we get to see Kerouac on screen (Robert Frank’s footage) up until 2013’s Big Sur (the movie adaption of one of his novels). This guy know his Kerouac and did a very thorough job! Great stuff!

I Tried to watch Big Sur, but I stopped slightly past the halfway mark. It seemed after awhile in every scene Jack had a bottle of some kind of booze in his hand. It became too depressing, watching him slowly poison himself to death.

This is awesome. I have been trying to keep nests out of my trees in my yard for a good few years just because of the whole rebuilding thing and it works. But I’ve been using extending paint poles and ladders haha. The pvc pole trick you have is genius.
