Hi everyone, I’m Patrizia, a stationery designer and calligrapher from Switzerland.This is PART 2, Basic Strokes in Modern Calligraphy, these are the essentials, tha every beginner needs to master for modern calligraphy! 🖋️
We’ll start with the "Entrance Stroke," a light, upward motion that begins many letters. Then, we’ll move on to the "Downstroke," where applying pressure creates the beautiful thick lines that define calligraphy. Once you’ve got these two strokes down, you can combine them to form almost any letter!
This tutorial is perfect for beginners looking to understand the foundation of calligraphy. With some practice, you’ll be able to create stunning lettering in no time! 💌
