    What’s the benefit of the two volts, I heard you can use step down for appliances. Can someone help explain

    • @dafetvnetwork
      @dafetvnetwork 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The benefits are based on individual preferences. We are based in the US and US voltage is 110v and also wants to bring our appliances if not all from the US. The two different power outlets will allow us to use any appliances with either volt and also less electricity consumption on the 110v appliances. Yes, you can use a stepdown but it has its limitations. You cannot buy step down for each appliance in the various rooms in the house. I hope this helps out. Thank you for your candid comment.

    I hate to see pipes around a building. I will opt for a new septic tank lower enough to get the required slope and use the old one as water storage

    • @dafetvnetwork
      @dafetvnetwork 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yeah, you are right about that. In our situation, the only way to walk around it was to dig the septic on a higher ground because the water level beneath the ground is a bit high due to the fact that we've a stream at the back of our rear fence. It's about 10ft away from where the masons are reconstructing the rear fence wall. If we moved it down a little bit, we can only have about 4ft to 5ft depth and that is without the plastering or concrete floor. The plumber has done this type of project before so he was able to get the required slope even though we were working against gravity. You will see how the pipes are later covered in our subsequent videos. Thanks so much for your candid opinion

    I had a similar issue. I built a 6 feet deep, 8inch wide retaining wall with a lot of iron rods. Used 42.5r cement with damp chemicals and membrane plastic at the bottom. You have to mix the cement richly when making the wall. The retaining wall has to go 1 to 1.5 feet above ground. For your section of the wall that broke, use quarry strong blocks. (It cost a lot of money, but I have had no issues and have a peace of mind.) Cover the surrounding holes/spaces around the retaining wall right after finish to prevent water build up, and make two small holes for water to pass through.

    • @dafetvnetwork
      @dafetvnetwork 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yeah, that's what we did. We added water proofing chemical to the cement mixture and also laid some plastic membrane at the base. Thanks so much for your good advice.

    It’s not easy to build in a waterlogged, I have to redo my bio digester because it’s filled with water. I have been advised to use concrete only or dump proof chemicals cement or concrete rings, not sure what to do yet.

    • @dafetvnetwork
      @dafetvnetwork 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I don't think all the options given to you will solve your problem speaking from the experience we had. We had to use a water proofing chemical compound called "Perma Plast-O-Proof" It's a liquid integral water proofing compound for concrete and mortars in a 1ltr gallon. You'll have to mix it with the cement and sand for mortar and chippings for concrete. The one litre gallon goes with eight bags of cement, that is ratio 1:8. This solved our problem. I hope this helps out.
