I started noticing when people were driving out I saw more deer 🦌. It’s been about a week since I had any deer on camera. I haven’t any hunters either 🤷‍♂️lol. But as far as locks I’m using a python lock on all my cameras from Amazon

I hunt with a bow. Mathew’s V3X 29” I love it. I’m in Central Florida. You’re welcome for the tips. I’m still learning. If and when I see or recognize something new. I will try and at them to my future videos. Pro tip. I noticed when hunters come down around 9-10am deer will move around then. Also sit till dark some deer will pop up out of the wood works 🦌😂 good luck this hunting season

Hey Joel, I shot you a text message. In the event you didn’t get it, I wanted to still share some hopeful helpful tips. Since you already have some experience in archery it’ll be just like riding a bike 🙂. Since it’s been a well I would head to your local bow shop so you can fitted for a bow. Then set a budget for the bow setup. I recommend shooting at least three different bows because I promise you will prefer one over the other me 👍. If you’re close to the Okeechobee area in Florida I recommend Skull Hill Archery. Brandon the owner really takes the time with his customers. Once you find a bow I would start practicing your shooting up to 40 yards minimum. If there’s anything I missed or if you any other questions just let me know

Not long at all. I don’t recommend soaking the bushing. Using the C-Clamp and a socket worked the best

@Floridaoutdoorschannel Every wma has its negatives, even the air force ranges are package with hunters. Last year, I think they had 580 hunters, which is a ton for the small area. It is real nice tho, if I lived closer or had more time for hunting i'd hunt there. Good luck finding a new wma.

@@YourTypicalRaysFan Your young. You will continue to learn about hunting on Public land. Unfortunately there will be people who don’t follow the rules. Please don’t let them discourage you. But that’s why we need to speak up. When you see something say something. Try to avoid any confrontation at all cost. It’s not worth it. Hunt and scout as much as you can. Observe as much as you can when in the woods. Good luck on your Quota. A patient hunter is a successful hunter 🦌 Stay safe.

​@@FloridaoutdoorschannelYes sir thank you. I actually went out scouting yesterday which is where I saw the tire tracks and tree stands. It was my first time ever out there but I found all kinds of fresh buck sign. I appreciate the kinds words and damn I'm excited for the upcoming season!

@@YourTypicalRaysFan your very welcome. A good GPS or google maps is works great. I utilize Hunt Stand app . It’s has maps, boundary lines, and you can mark the sign and your and cameras 🤙. Hope it’s a successful hunting season for you🦌

​@@Floridaoutdoorschannelwell this is my update as of 8/26. I've gone out a few times to check my cams. Lots of does, hogs, and even cattle. A few weeks ago I had two guys come by and they were covering their faces. In effort to hopefully locate some bucks moved my camera about 50 yards to the right where there was a tree that had been freshly rubbed every time I had gone out to check my cams. Unfortunately, both SD cards from my trail camera have been wiped except for pictures of nothing. These guys were dumb enough to save three pictures that clearly showed that the camera positioning had been moved... And there were four pictures between the two that had been deleted. To say the least, I relocated both cameras. If they still find them and delete the pictures, I will scout a new area. It kish sucks that I've had cameras at that spot for almost two months and then all of a sudden these guys come along and delete my pictures. Worst part, they set up a cell cam a few cards away from my cameras. It just sucks that people have to do that. I've put in a lot of time and effort into learning how to hunt Florida public land and these guys aren't helping. It's my woods just as much as it is anybody else's that's going to hunt there. But some respect would be nice. I turned down three spots my first time out scouting there because I found cameras or climbers. Just wish other people had the same respect. Sorry for the rant but the last two trips have completely wiped all of my confidence.

@YourTypicalRaysFan I’m sorry to hear this. I can’t stand that people have to touch other people’s belongings. Unfortunately two years ago I had this happen to me in two different areas. I saw the sign but my cameras had not a single picture on them. Actually they took the sd card from one for about a week then brought it back 😂. Really dude. Sometimes I want to sit that spot but people are cray cray. When I scout I look for people sign as much as I look for game sign. I will advise to lock up all your stuff when you leave it in the woods. It’s not 100% steal proof but it slows the process down. Do not let those people discourage you. Get back to the scouting grind. Check off your the places you been and find a new one. I want to hear you got a buck this year. 🦌 I’ll pray those people don’t get a deer after messing with your stuff. 🤙 have a blessed hunting season 🦌

When you drilled the holes, did your cameras have condensation?

@@Indianrider65 unfortunately this is the second Deceptor camera I had, and both were defective. 😔 The replacement they sent me had a bad gasket which allowed water to get inside and killed the camera

@@Floridaoutdoorschannel Yeah im considering other brands too. they all fill up quickly on the SD card with the settings too tight. Other than that, I like the others Im seeing on these vids. I guess we all have to try them and keep the receipt.

My pictures aren that great on mine, I have to zoom in on a lot of them just to see if it’s a doe or buck. Mine does not pick up 80’! It picks up when they’re already in front of the trough.

I tried the water at first. It didn’t work for me. Utilizing the socket and C-Clamp worked the best 👍

Yes, it’s very sad of the amount of trash I see. I’m currently using HISEA boots from Amazon. It’s a rubber boot with a small neoprene top. Still not sold on them lol 🤷‍♂️

I think that’s something I could do. I hunt public land and take it very serious. It requires a lot of scouting. I admire someone who is interested in anything outdoors. This year me and my wife will be expecting our son in July. I’m it sure how much hunting I will be able to get in. Do you live in Florida? What do you have for hunting gear?

Live oak Florida is a beautiful place my friend. Me and my wife want to check out the area. There’s good hunting by you. Some WMAs I would also like to check out. What style hunting do you prefer? Archery or rifle? I’m a mobile hunter, i constantly reposition my hang on stand because I found it to be more successful. Keeps your scent low. Usually see more game. I sit for long hours at a time. Don’t know about when my son is here lol. Just something’s to think about. Also maybe a face time at some point, since we haven’t met would be good idea 🦌
