Hallo @PetersGartenbahn der MAN war mein war mein fünftes LKW Model, davor habe ich allerdings schon Flugzeuge gebaut. Aktuell baue ich meinen 10. LKW (Scania S 730). Normalerweise baue ich meine LKWs wie sie damals präsentiert wurden, auf dem Prospekt oder auf der Messe. Für diesen MAN habe ich allerdings die TV-Sendung auf Achse als Vorbild genommen. @@CoronadoCH ich baue nur nach Vorbild. Wie erstellst Du diese Videos? Das würde ich auch mal reizen. Doch wenn ein Vide über 400Std aufzeichnen muss, wird das eher niemand mehr angucken….😁

@@PetersGartenbahn Ich filme in real Zeit und nachher beschleunige ich die Aufnahme beim Bau auf 500% und lackieren ist glaube ich 1000%, zum Beispiel habe ich beim roten Scania 143 7h44min roh Material, welches ich verwendet habe. Man muss dazu auch sagen, dass das schneiden auch einen enormen Aufwand ergibt. Ich habe aber auch schon Versionen mit Echtzeit Schnitt gesehen welche auch um die 30 Minuten sind.

Hi, how are you putting primer on your models? The back of the radiator is mostly black the front isn't important to me as mostly not seen in the completed model.

@@CoronadoCH first of all i use Hycote fine primer or Tamiya primer in cans, spray two thin coats making sure parts are entirely covered. I warm cans before spraying too, it's very important. Sometimes when I do patterns or go for two or more colours i use adhession promoter, just one max two thin coats around, then roughly one hour later - primer. To achieve perfect finish later, i always smoothen primed surface just to make sure there is no contamination that might affect final effect.

Thanks for the tip, I'll try it next time, I'm especially having problems gluing the tanks to the chassis.

I used the grey primer from Vallejo 7:05 for the fuselage. I don't use primer for smaller parts like the cockpit, the paint still holds well as long as you don't do too much to the part.

Yes it's very easy to build, have fun when building the Eurofighter. Kits with large decales like the Ghost Tiger are a nightemare for me.

Hi Overload, thank you for your comment. Following my answers to the questions. I'm using color on acrylic basic as they are easier to handle as enaml color for exemple, regaring cleaning them. I'm using manly an airbursh pistole for the large surfaces and the smaller details I'm painting with a brush. The airbrush pistole is a Harder and Steenbeck Evolution Silverline Two in One. For me it was not difficult to learn. I use if available the premixed colors of Vallejo, they are sold as Model Air. I've listed all colors used in the describtion of the video in general you don't need more than one of each color. The cost of the color you need to search in your location in the internet, the exact color I used is in the description. I hope I could help you.

@@CoronadoCH Thank you. I did some digging and found this. The airbrush pistole costs about 130-170 €. Then I found Vallejo thinner 200ml for 10€ and basic set of 16 colours (17ml each) for 45 € Primer is for 8€ 60ml. As a total noob in this colouring field. How much these colours are going to last? I understand that it depends on the model size and amount of paint used etc. But as a guess - lets take this Scania model. How many models I would be able to paint with this colour set and the primer? Thank you again.

@@Izmael1310 Yes, the airbrush color seems to be correct, but you need as well a compressor. You need to check if you want to buy a color set or indiviual color depending if you really need all color to build. The use of color depends how good it covers for example the yellow did cover really bad but there is still color left. The primer lasts at least for around 2-3 models. I didn't write down exactly how much color I used. But if the color covers well one bottel should be enough for two models. The most difficult color is the clear gloss as I don't manage as well to get a proper glossy seal with it.

Yes true they are over the average from the pirce point of view, but they contain as well a lot of parts, usually around 200+.

Dear Panzergrau Models, thank you very much for your comment. I'm currently cutting the material for the Italeri Scania 143 and I'm going to try an other cutting style with no timelaps. The interest of timelaps video is that the lenght is between 15-30 minutes for trucks and 8-15 minutes for fighter jets. I can also upload 1-3 videos per build with a lenght of 15-20 minutes each. If my translation is correct you are speaking about the wheels which I glued to the model and are not turning. I do this to p'revent damage on the model as I have all models in a individual case, if the wheels are not fixed it would go forward and backward while transporting.
