I can’t get into this one like so many others from this era of clubbing. Not that it isn’t a great song or remix. Far from it. This ranks right up there with “I Learned From The Best” and “Waiting For Tonight” as some of Hector’s very best work. But I was going through one of the worst breakups of my life when this came out. And was trying desperately to take my mind off it with anything I could. I really wished I didn’t miss them anymore. When this came on, it was time for me to go home.

This is such of a mess of a mix I did. From writing, to recording vocals, to producing, to mixing … Way to much to handle myself. Was hard to be objective. I wanted this to be my first “solo” record after Widelife but Nervous didn’t want to use my name as the artist so they came up with the silly name Liquid Sunshine which this record is anything but that 😅

Dez killed the remix (s) … Rachid and I did so many mixes to make an original. Dez knocks it out of the park on the first go 😂

One of my favorite Ayu remixes. It's so epic!

I remember getting the call to do this remix ... I literally had to build a room to do it as I had just returned back to Toronto ... this is 100% me, besides the vocals. The room sounded pretty good, so I think the final result was one of my better sounding mixes. Not the sort of record you would expect from Curb Records at the time, especially doing those 3 LeAnn remixes years before.
