In the name of God, the Gracious, the Merciful. 1. Say, “He is God, the One. 2. God, the Absolute. 3. He begets not, nor was He begotten. 4. And there is nothing comparable to Him.” This is a clear statement by God describing Himself to humanity without any room for confusion. God is One and is exalted above everything He creates. This chapter of the Quran is about the oneness of God. The concept of God has been presented here in its purest form, ridding it of all polluting associations which people of every age have brought to it. There is no plurality of gods. There is only one God. All are dependent upon Him, but He is not dependent on anybody. He Himself has power over everything. He is far above being the progeny of anybody or having any offspring. He is such a unique being that there is nobody like Him or equal to Him in any manner whatsoever. The doctrine of God’s pure unity, or The Divine oneness, is clearly stated here: God is not many , He is only One. Everyone is in need of Him ,but He is not in need of anyone. He reigns over all things of the heavens and the earth. Unlike human beings , He has no son or father. He is eternal ,without beginning or end, and is thus a Unique Being who has no equal. This Chapter has been called the essence of the Quran. The prophet Muhammad, Peace Be Upon Him, once described this Chapter as “ equivalent to one-third of the whole Quran ”{ Bukhari and Muslim } Muslims believe in one, unique, incomparable God, Who has no son nor partner, and that none has the right to be worshipped but Him alone. He is the true God, and every other deity is false. He has the most magnificent names and sublime perfect attributes. No one shares His divinity, nor His attributes. No one has the right to be invoked, supplicated, prayed to, or shown any act of worship, but God alone. God alone is the Almighty, the Creator, the Sovereign, and the Sustainer of everything in the whole universe. He manages all affairs. He stands in need of none of His creatures, and all His creatures depend on Him for all that they need. He is the All-Hearing, the All-Seeing, and the All-Knowing. In a perfect manner, His knowledge encompasses all things, the open and the secret, and the public and the private. He knows what has happened, what will happen, and how it will happen. No affair occurs in the whole world except by His will. Whatever He wills is, and whatever He does not will is not and will never be. His will is above the will of all the creatures. He has power over all things, and He is able to do everything. He is the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful, and the Most Beneficent. In one of the sayings of the Prophet Muhammad , we are told that God is more merciful to His creatures than a mother to her child. God is far removed from injustice and tyranny. He is All-Wise in all of His actions and decrees. If someone wants something from God, he or she can ask God directly without asking anyone else to intercede with God for him or her.

I follow your sermons every week on TH-cam (along with six other churches) and always love the way that Lutheran's stick right to Biblical teachings. I also get excited when I come across the younger pastors like yourself that keep it real. I look forward each week to receiving Ottawa, Canada into my home. ... ... And, in a side note, my own church (Immanuel Lutheran in Macomb, Michigan) is around 170 years old and it's first three years of existence, services were held in one of the farmers barns. I believe there is a good chance that some of the animals (although probably speaking German) were making some noises and emitting some noxious smells.

'Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and they shall call his name, Immanuel (which means, God with us).' (Matthew 1:23) 'When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralytic, “Son, your sins are forgiven.” Now some of the scribes were sitting there, questioning in their hearts, “Why does this man speak like that? He is blaspheming! Who can forgive sins but God alone?” ' (Mark 2: 5-7) '[Jesus] is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. For by him all things were created…' (Colossians 1:15)

My youtube comments have been hacked and removed from over a hundred channels, some cannot be posted others appear to post, over a thousand pages of youtube comments each containing important urgent substantial information were mysteriously unanswered for years except for a few weird and meaningless instances, the underground jesuit inquisition, censorship and persecution of true Christianity simply decides what comments will post and for how long---and it does not stop there, I have been tortured for 20 years on account of my faith and I am robotized and drugged with counterfeited groceries bought at regular markets, on 3 different continents--no civil rights or whatsoever anywhere on the planet, all I think say or do is a jesuit retransmission-distortion of my original ideas and actions, mind and body. The entire matter regarding the comments results in such unreliability that I generally gave up and it surprises me now to find a reply. I wish I was allowed to make a channel so I would not have to answer the same things time and again on an individual basis---I am under heavy tortures and incredible sabotages. Without further ado, the original intention of the argument I proposed was to narrow down the debate to those two verses, one could discuss the entire Bible for that matter, but it would be a protracted debate perhaps better reserved for another setting. The two verses I proposed above prove Jesus is not God but the Son of God. Any disagreements? If you cannot answer those verses then I will proceed to answer the verses you proposed instead. Most Biblical Hebrew names involve the word God or the name of God (YHWH) --which is not Jesus, Jesus being YahShua--meaning 'YHWH Saves', many other Jews had the Hellenized Hebrew name of Jesus in the form of Joshua, Elijah's name for example means 'YHWH is my God' Eli-Yah or king Jehoshafat 'YHWH Judges'---that does not mean that Jehoshafat is the Almighty Judge, the Creator and Most High God: that is just his name; many people have Biblical names today and some have the name Immanuel, that does not make them God either, and the name Immanuel is not a literal prophecy, Jesus' name never was Immanuel. No respectable scholar would use the Immanuel case as an argument in favor of a trinitarian doctrine. Secondly, the Pharisees thought Jesus at the most would be a human prophet, or the Messiah himself, but their understanding was the Messiah would be a human being like king David, and in all these cases they could not abrogate themselves the right to forgive sins who were born in sin. In the case of Jesus is different, he had a previous divine nature among the angels and though he seemed like an ordinary Jew, yet he was born without sin by a miracle of the Holy Spirit and received this authority from God because he would give his life to atone for the sins of the world. God, and the only Mediator between man and God, both can forgive human sin. Finally, the text you cite corroborates what I explain, that Jesus is not God, but His Son, His reflection, His closest image, the first creature (Firstborn son, the sons of God are His creatures, to which He is a Father), the only creature that God made directly, and through him God created all other things in the universe. God has no beginning, He cannot be described as firstborn, Jesus had a beginning and also died and changed---he degraded himself taking a human form and God exalted him to an even higher state after resurrecting him, whereas God has no beginning and no end, cannot die and cannot change. (The trinity is absurd, seriously contradicts very important tenets of Christianity from OT and NT alike, and many across the ages have noted the irreconcilable inconsistencies, it stuck just like so many other nonsense of 'holy grail' church of 'holy sepulcher' within the perimeter of ancient Jerusalem when Romans and especially Jews crucified convicts outside the city--especially in the case of Jerusalem and awaiting a Sabbath-Passover as also in the letter to the Hebrews Paul says Jesus was crucified outside the city, scientifically demonstrable nonsense that has endured from the Middle Ages to this day for the sake of reputation and financial interest, major contributors to ecclesiastical corruption in all religious institutions. All world religions are jesuit infiltrated cults and businesses with a fold that is programmed to be exploited for the benefit of an elite of secret societies a system of hierarchies in pyramidal form that culminates in Rome, following the Vatican's catholic template of usurping the obedience due to Christ and selling the truth of His gospel and His grace to gain worldly power, hence the Vatican who engenders these institutions is called 'mother of harlots'. God commands His people to disaffiliate from those organizations of Babylon the Great, in the form of religious institutions, clubs, societies, mafias; those temples accursed, they have contradicted the truth of God, sold it, suppressed it, persecuted the true Christians, raped women and children, performed satanic rituals, all who would join them become partakers with them of their evil deeds and contribute to them and support the otherwise impracticable enterprises of their leadership, it is quite more than been personally scammed it has serious repercussions for all, those dens of satan wear sheepskins, they have the reputation of fraternity and haven but they are only fraternal and havens to thieves rapists homosexuals sorcerers and evildoers and for the rest, they are traps to scam them abuse them and lead them to perdition---those false religions are the punishment of God to those who have not the true faith. Read the Bible daily and pray continually and be careful to keep all of God's commandments, then God will favor you and enlighten your understanding; compliment the Bible with readings of history--do not take for granted all that textbooks say, if you intently seek the truth, you will be able to learn to decipher the truth. The persecution today involves very advanced chemistry and technology but historical precedents can be found in accounts like Foxe's book of martyrs (I do not confirm the veracity of all the accounts, some/many or at least details in the accounts may be incorrect or spurious while others are more accurate but they do conjure a picture of Christian persecution in Europe that serves to reconstruct a more realistic understanding), episodes like the Massacre of St Bartholomew of French Huguenots their final expulsion and/or compulsory conversion back to Catholicism, antisemitism in Europe in the form of ghettoes and recurrent holocausts and expulsions, crusades against Waldenses and Cathars, the tactics of the Vatican--and in modern times its Jesuits--against religious minorities, is the closest we can come to the persecution of saints--the dark history that has never been told, but these martyrdoms, as predicted in the Bible, will go on until the end of the world. The True Church has never had a temple, it has been under relentless persecution for 20 centuries, one of extermination-exploitation-slavery, the most horrible holocaust of the most blameless and greatest human beings thoroughly covered up for 15 centuries everywhere in every form. 'Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the way that leads to life, and only a few find it.' The wide road is the mainstream, the narrow path is the ever repudiated by the world, feared by its rulers, envied by the devil, holy truth of Christ.) If you have any more questions I will have the privilege of answering them to the best of my ability.

@@jacob-de4zi God 's unchanging nature is absolute, perfect, strict, meaning He does not change at all, as He is not a creature. If God is one, then He cannot be divided, if you say He is composed of 3 persons and the person acting as Father knows that Day and the person acting as Son does not, God would have been partly ignorant, not knowing all things, which contradicts the Oneness of God and the perfect, absolute integrity of His omniscience. In other words, how can one person at once know all things and not know all things? Besides you say that the Holy spirit is also God and those 3 persons are coequal and we know the Holy Spirit did not become incarnate. Although you can love Pizza, Pizza can not love you. Jesus gave his body that we may be with him. There is no greater love. Now Pizza has more parts, Cheese, Pepperoni, Sauce, Crust, at very least. There are many part of the body too, but pizza too can classified as solid and liquid right? that is basically what Holy Communion is about; we et and drink Jesus. He is our ALL and ALL

In accordance with 1 peter 2:1, 2 corinthians 6:14-18 I loosen myself, my family, friends, colleagues, neighbours, acquintances, opponents and the body of Christ of every spirit of slander while binding not to dlander one another, loosening myself of every unequal yoke and common share with those slandering others, in the name and blood of Jesus Christ, amen and hallelujah!

Jesus heals us an not medical doctors... at this church. Sure physicalailmints need medical attention... this is a spiritual Hospital though. Reject the Holy Spirit and you are like Judas Iscariot: better off never having been born. You are forgiven,I struggle with this complex too. All I can do is forgive though as Jesus did each of us. We love ( forgive) because he first loved (forgave) us!

@@StPaulOttawa “’We would have healed Babylon, but she cannot be healed; let us leave her and each go to our own land, for her judgment reaches to the skies, it rises as high as the heavens This is what I was quoting and inserting some context for perspective about how the whore/babylon is the apostate church. God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands; Come out her, and stop re-offering Christ and convincing yourself that the lutherans are different than their mother Rome. Mass is turning Christ into a repeated offering, and back into a levitical sacrifice.

I was reminded of this moment in John 4 19. “Sir,” the woman said, “I see that You are a prophet. 20. Our fathers worshiped on this mountain, but you Jews say that the place where one must worship is in Jerusalem.” 21.“Believe Me, woman,” Jesus replied, “a time is coming when you will worship the Father neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem. 22. You worship what you do not know; we worship what we do know, for salvation is from the Jews. 23. But a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth, for the Father is seeking such as these to worship Him. 24. God is Spirit, and His worshipers must worship Him in spirit and in truth.”

I am not one of the Pastors but we in Jesus learn that we are often the problem ourself actually, we are so self focused we are un willing to be flexible and forgiving in relationships so they break apart. We are all not perfect and if you spend too much time focusing on the perfect partner you will do with out. We all are sinful and need some allowance and maybe you do too. You may expect others to live up to standards with out first stating your expectation too though which is the idea of dating. We don't live in a Christian world so most people do not live Christian lives. You may trust Jesus and expect other to forgive like you but they do not trust so they throw the book at you. I am no councilor though we have marriage classes, counseling,... for members... here at St. Paul. You should be careful what you share publicly about others too though. Gossip is speaking words behind others back which goes against the 8th commandment which we do still use as a guide in Christianity.

I am an ELCA Lutheran from South Carolina. This passage from the Gospel of St. John is read in my church every three years on The Third Sunday of Advent, which falls between December 11-17. Also on this Sunday, the third candle on the Advent Wreath is lit, bringing a little more light into the dark world that the people had been living in.
