Watching OTH for the first time on Hulu and I can't believe I never watched this while it was live on air. Such a good show! I love Karen and Keith and when they finally get together as a couple, they kill his character. 😭 They seriously need to get back to making shows like this. Too many shows they make these days that are just so boring and have no heart.

I met moira and alot of the oth cast February 2020 and they were all the nicest when I took a pic w moira we talked mostly about the lion king . I told her I must be dreaming she pinched me and laughed and said you are not. This truly was a dream come true

1:28 - 1:33 both Paul Johansson and Moira Kelly were excellent in this scene. The heartbreak in Karen's voice while the realization of what he did in Dan's eyes was very good.

I cry on this scene every time. MOIRA is phenomenal you feel every bit of the emotions from her anger to her grief

Little did she know he actually was the one who pulled the trigger.

I know being mayor is important but when you’re a parent the responsibilities change. Being a father is just as important being mayor. Even mayors are parents too. Mayors protect everyone including their own children. In this situation with Karen and Dan he told Karen that being mayor is more important and Karen has a valid point, what about responsibilities as a parent. He has kids in that school shooting. You can’t replace children. I think in my opinion mayors give up their position and give it to someone else who’s more qualified. Priorities change. But being a parent comes first before mayor positions. You need to balance your priorities as a father and mayor. If you or anyone who have kids involved in a scary situation like school shootings you should be there for them and keep them safe as you would do the same for other people. I know that you can’t be in two places at once but I feel strongly about the situation. If I Aaron Baumbach was a parent I will need to make sure my kids are safe and be there for them. As parents would say, children are important, keep them safe and loved.

She yells at him for abandoning Lucas, but it was all of her fault for not letting him be a part of his life. She sounds unhinged with her hysteria here.

Man every time I watched this scene I always tear up when Karen says “you had two sons in there”!! So realistic tbh, all the anger she has had built up and finally letting some of out. Man Dan was one of the worse villains ever!

Dan never wanted Lucas/Karen until his brother was with them. Then he took him away. But let's reward him with "forgiveness" utter crap

Dan deserved no redemption His killing of his brother was after how many attempts to kill, blackmail his own family? He never gave a shit about anyone but himself he occasionally did something a parent is expected to do 24/7, but that doesn't make him anything close to a human So I found it gross in the end they didn't give a shit about any character and forgave him. I also found the story of Karen "falling" for him post murder problematic but even then it's clear he was just taking advantage of her grief and gave no shit.

Karen had every right to fear for her son’s safety. She had a right to be angry at Dan for that. Dan shouldn’t be saying to Karen that his mayor position is more important than his children. If something happened to Nathan, his son how can he live with himself knowing that if something dangerous happens to your child I would be scared for my child’s safety. Karen was so angry at him in this scene, her son could have died, no parent should go through that pain of losing a child.

So I’m guessing at this moment she didn’t know he literally did it?

This just shows how disgusting and despicable Dan is. Great actor, but what a horrible character! He has arterial motives for everything else does and when everyone hates him for the latest despicable thing he does he apologizes and makes it seems as if he wants to change and then goes back to do even more sly horrible things just more sneakily and under the radar, until he gets found out again and has to repeat the cycle and figure out another way to exploit someone and blackmail them to worm his way back into his family’s world!

Moira is really such an amazing and underrated actress

She always acted the hell out of each and every one of her scenes. She doesn't get enough credit as an actress. This scene alone and the scene with her and Dan when he was in jail still gives me chills.

If only she knew at This moment ...

This speech while accurate shows he was never a father. With both his sons. He never cared about them unless it had to do with himself. That’s why the rewrite of him as a good grandparent in later seasons was gross as fuck.

Finally I hated hated she did not believe Lucas That and her blaming Lucas for Keith dying her WORST moments!

When she said “you may not have been the one that pulled the trigger but you still let him in to that school!” I was thinking well actually he did both he pulled the trigger and let Keith go into that school

All Her angry scenes are some of the bests scenes in oth.

Why does Karen say Dan abandoned Lucas? I thought in season2 Dan said he tried to help her but she didn't want anything to do with Dan coz she was heartbroken that Dan left her for Deb?????
