As a Gallant player, it was the first card I thought of to use in my flex spot for Purple Hybrid. Glad to see that it was used in a topping list! Definitely have won games with some mind games with most people throwing down Memory blockers vs a Psyche against the deck.

Hey! I'm a 7GDL player. I understand that playing against the deck can be frustrating, but just drop a Psychemon or an Otamamon in the early stages of the game, and we can’t do much, haha. You literally need to have the right pieces to respond to that Level 3, like Porcupamon, a Biting Crush, Belphemon Rage BT13 in the trash, and Belphemon Sleep in hand. Or just be faster! I’ve lost plenty of matches against Red Hybrid because they raise Agunimon, evolve into Ancient, and check 5 securities in one turn. So, I guess it’s fair.

I've been telling people that galacticmon can win. Im glad that someone took it to nationals and did well. Another warning to the unbelievers: Galacticmon is getting support. The deck is going to become oppressive soon. Get the cards NOW before they become unresonable. I would grab the vemmons and the fusionizes NOW.

I think 7GDL isn’t that bad. It gets cooked by the right floodgate and takes time to set up and win. A lot of decks “can” run them over because it’s a ramp deck. Mirage is problematic and has been problematic ever since it got a win condition. Its boss is a floodgate that punishes every deck for playing the game, deals free damage because of its failsafe ability, and costs almost nothing because its ability is all turns. Other decks have to use resources to lower cost, mirage costs 2 on average and can reduce further. #certifiedbluedoghater

Floodgates like chikuri, solarmon, otamamon really slow down 7GDL, on the other hand, mirage doesn't even sweat against memory floodgates having easy access to bouncing digimon back to hand

I can say I think shamanmon is what makes or breaks the match-up into three great angles

I hope Mirage isn't gone for a long time. I just got it recently, and the last thing I want is for it to be limited Although, to be honest, Bandai hasn't released many Banlists unless a card is really problematic, like Bukamon BT14, Apocalymon or Ukkomon P... And Mirage, as oppressive as he is, isn't dominant (Not like Numemon who dominated more than 60% in Tournaments)

At finals, game 2, how did hexeblaumon unsuspends?! Because on its sources is the crescemon, not the huanckumon… not that it mattered at the end, but it could not unsuspend…

The way the lvl 6s are, calling them Mirage (Galaxy) instead of Galaxy (Mirage) is weird to me. They are not the same.

The First Fen list you showed is mine, its the 14th place list not the 6th, in regards to the Kazutchi, you don't need to do the Takemika combo to win in a fair amount of match ups not to mention into some match ups if you try to full combo you straight up lose. That being said, Kazutchi is only searchable by Ukko and analog, so having Fen at 3 and that at 4 isn't a bad idea, I just see it too much at 4 (most of the time). If you are relying only sitting in the back and setting up full combo to win every time then you do not know all the ins and outs of the deck and are only playing the deck at 40% of what it is actually capable of not to mention pitching cards early to set up can be damning into any match up with Paladin. 4 of my games were won without even having Kazutchi sometimes you don't have time to dig for all the pieces and you play around it. As long as you have cracker Fang and a fen in raising or out on the board, you can just hard digi into Takemika and keep turn from 3 memory. Last game of the final round all 3 of my Takemikas were my last 3 security which was a bummer but it wasn't an issue of 1 less Kazu lol The reasoning for 3 hell is because that is the only card that can truly gets around Return of the Primo, Mega Knight and EX06 Chaosmode not to mention you can use that card to combo off in so many ways that I dont need to explain (people who truly play the deck will know). The Loogar package can more consistently draw and dig deeper, with out needing both Doru and Dex, not to mention it is much easier to go into double Takemika with the extra memory inherits also in a meta with Jackraids at 4 in PH, Icewall and Hammer in blue decks the extra 2 memory plays around hitting those in secruity. A BT15 Loogar also lets you full combo from hand without having to have both Doru and Dex, so it plays around early Paladin mode and Millenniumon jogress plays. I don't think one build is better then the other I just think they are different and if you aren't going for a pure OTK and actually want to combo off and extend much further than Loogar is a better option. People seem to forget this deck is a purple deck and focus on the unga bunga side of it but again if you are playing it with only that route in mind you are playing it wrong. This does not mean you cant top playing it that way, it just means you are limiting yourself greatly and relying on "having all the pieces" instead of truly making plays to force the combo. Regardless of how you build it, Bowmon is the MVP of the deck, the stuff you can do with that bestest of boys is crazy.

Always a joy to see Birds but I agree with Hyper it's so hard to pilot this deck. Also now that Proto is up it's harder to make

I’ll take those shots fired about gato UVER 😂😂 I find it’s so so beneficial against matchups like lucemon, takemikazuchi, and all hybrids, the security effect is just a nice little bonus! Even in the mirror when they have that Levia x in trash and. 5 on field it feels great to be escape it.

Ngl i really hyped for this set. But its because lordknightmon and the Darkknightmon support really help my favorite deck Darkknightmon. And my two favorite bad guys are now playable with Darkknightmon actually have a goal and not thrown everywhere with his older support. And zeed is now in the game. Zeed and Jupitermon were the two i couldnt wait to play

I get being upset, but I have to disagree with the cost issue. The Human Spirit Level 4s costing more to go over Tamers besides their named ones is a flavor win, it shows they synergize best with their canon humans. Plus they're two color cards, which historically evo for more when nor using their special evo conditions. The Beast Spirits are also a flavor win, being much more wild and harder to control, you waste more memory to tame them when using their canon pairs. Having played the EmperorGreymon deck this set, it's really fun. That's probably me just enjoying Xros Hearts and Hunters, which like you said is what they feel more like. The level 6s are definitely made with the options in mind, you really aren't supposed to hard evo into them. The entire point of these decks is to emulate how these characters reached these forms in the show, and imo, they did a great job at capturing the vibe of the show, I especially love the options. Susanoo finally feels powerful. Is it annoying that the options don't get to ignore color requirements, but it helps promote the flavor, which for me is the selling point. I think Milleniumon has a lot of potential. I can't really say what it's missing, but there is something there that is missing.

RISU!!! Dude we are mind melding. Season 4 is my favourite too. I also love the power rangers, but I love it because I was into archaeology and now I AM an archaeologist. The fact the kids find ancient artifacts in the digital world and then can turn into those digimon is so fire. Id love for them to do a new movie where they spend more time investigating iconographic depictions of digimon throughout the digital world and other artifacts from their prehistoric period. UGH! I would love that But anyway. Im right there with you dude, they already established the colours of the digimon and should have kept at least the base colour -e.g. JP Black, green/ Zoe YellowGreen. It sucks because it took 13 whole sets before we got another frontier dedicated themed set, so here's hoping the game survives to BT30. Love your post tournament breakdowns and discussions!
