Standard woodwind quintet consists of the flute, oboe, clarinet, horn, and bassoon. A close relative to this is the woodwind quartet which consists of the same instruments minus the horn
Great piece! I love your style of writing, but one thing I might change has to do with the lower notes on the flute. This may be the effect you desired, but musescore and other midi make it easy to think that these notes project about the same as the rest of the instrument, but you will be lucky to find a flute player who can play them nearly as loud. Just something to think about, although it seems unnecessary for me to say this at all, as the times they are used in your piece seem to fit pretty well. Happy composing!
that's great insight. With midi usage people often don't think about the actualy instrument and what dynamics they can project. I saw someone try to make a bari sax play a low a at a ppp, and there's no way it would balance with the rest of the quartet. It's something people think about surprisingly little. But it's something super important
the low notes are doubled on oboe so that won’t be an issue. there was really no instance in the video that I could see where there would be any struggle for the low flute notes to be heard as a flute player.
so beautiful, good works!
It sounds beautiful! Are you using Musescore 4?

@@Caleb_Lopez It seems like you used the F horn, a brass instrument, you may have got confused with the french horn and F horn having similar names
