I have a d15b7 and apparently it's non vtec. It has a capped of solenoid place. It is so slow is something wrong
hello, i just did z6 head swap on my d15b2 block, and i have ecu from that d16z6....vtec not works...what should i do ?
Did you remove the oil jet on the block between cylinders?
@@jarredse1253 yes, the oil jet has been removed...it shows a code 22 on the ecu after 5-10 minutes of ride...it doesnt matter if i drive fast or slow...i tried change the oil pressure switch..but it still not works..now i change ecu to p06 and modified with d15bmap and removed oil pressure switch senzor from that ecu and vtec still not works

Hey dyde! Nice config!!!!! Here in Brasil i hav eto a EJ1 whit a minime project (like yours) D15B7 + Head D16Z6 and Gearbox D16Z6 too... thats a good config for the coupe! Congrats !
What's the traction control light doing on and the handbrake light in orange doing on ? Anyone care to explain
+Prashant Raj It's fully disabled traction control. With one click on esp button you dont fully disabled traction control you need to push it for longer time, and then when handbrake light will on its fully off.
+Prashant Raj you can manually turn off stability / traction control, in which case these lights come on.

the 0-60 is hella fast, but the upper end acceleration slows down A LOT
@@chek1n not realy. Its fast up to 125mph and then slows down like most cars do. The hp required to be fast att those speeds is huge

Gentlemen quick question, is there huge difference between years 00, 01, 02 and 03 for 330 e46; I understand after 2003 the steering is a lot better? How about the engine? 2001 vs 2002? Much appreciated.
+0SUPERMAN No difference with the engines, unless you are going to buy a 318, 318 came with 1.9liters and 2liter engines

330d after 2003 has a e60 530d engine inside and 204hp with 6 speed manual and the the 320d is impoved to 150hp. The 330d is even faster then 330i cos of insane torque 410Nm and with stage 1 map it goes to 250 hp and 500 Nm with no stress on other parts.
This is not an 330i...probably an 325 or 328...because the 330i its an M54 engine and the M54 redline starts on 6500RPM instead of 6000...

Maurice Klein Well if you say so...i was thinking that the M54 start the red on 6500...I personally have an m52tub and the red start on 6000 thats why i say the this is an m52tub maybe the 25 or the 30...

I'm counting 7+ secs... roughly from @0:09 to @00:16 (or even before when ou look at the RpM), fairly good acceleration tough!

The diesel versions seem to have worse acceleraton time (0-100) even tho I prefer diesels more.

I have a 93 coupe with a very healthy d15b7 this car runs so damn good only has an intake and I have been beating cars I feel like I should lose to my buddy has the same thing but the effects with the D 1606 and I beat him should I keep my motor or should I do a meeting me like this and do you think it will be better?????? personally I really like for long 3rd gear and the B7

as long as u use the vtec dizzy and wires i think it should be fine
and your crossover should be at 5.2k rpms. not 4.7k.
Why? You have a "tuned" ecu yet, your vtec crossover is at 4700 rpm? The "individual" base mapping is kinda pointless on your setup, IMO. Would've been better off with a V-AFC and V-Con.

my d15b7 sounds like it's going to just torque itself free from the mounds when i take it past maybe 6.2K, does yours too or is it just cuz i have so many km on it
I have one that used to do this, you really better take a look at those mount they should be really worn-out
how much cost to put the d16z6 head on the d15b7 ?

At first I thought the speedometer was in mph lol. I was like woah. Though this is still really fast. I like it. I have a '94 LX Civic with the d15b7 engine and I can see the power difference.

how it works without the individual map ?
