This is not the original master tape, but a completely different mix, probably a mix down from the quad tape to a 2 track.. still, sounds incredible

До сих пор я думал, что пласт от Harvest - лучший звук этого альбома. Хотя, честно говоря, звук не очень... А CD ещё хуже. Сейчас, наконец, услышал, как он НА САМОМ ДЕЛЕ был записан! Спасибо! Шикарно! So far I thought Harvest's vinyl was the best sound on this album. Although, to be honest, that sound is not very good... And CD is even worse((( But now I heard how it was ACTUALLY recorded! Thank you! Gorgeous!

26:05 for the first time this actually did something. usually that part kills the vibe for me but just now while painting that part zapped me back into reality it was fucking crazy as shit!!!! my god pink floyd is the best band. wont change my mind. brings me to tears when i realise how old they all are. few of them are even gone. i was born in the wrong time...... god.... i wish i was born in the 60s.. i wish i was born in 1960 specifically.. man... i wish i was there too...

Absolutely positively, without even needing to say anything.

When I was growing up in Denver in the 80s, The Wall WAS the introduction to Pink Floyd, but then other bits filtered in, played here and there on the radio, or heard in cars on cassettes in boom boxes powered by D Cell batteries, or at basement parties, or in the case of Wish You Were Here, sung by a fellow patrol member on a 23-day alpine mountaineering course. This is such an amazing album--moody, introspective, soulful, and complex. Gilmour is deservedly reputed as the most important guitarist of the 70s, and the whole band was approaching the height of their powers to evoke emotion and tell a story to take the listener on a journey.

Is this really the original tape? It sounds like someone flavored the original tracks by their own hand.🤔
