I got the Wii U around its launch, it’s not my favorite system but I do think it’s overhated. Overall the system has some amazing games which have mostly been ported to the switch but there aren’t a lot of games so lows like Mario Tennis Ultra Smash hurt the system a lot more. I think if the marketing was better it could have been a moderately selling system but it still played it a bit too safe.

If you still have it and it's running, check out my channel, on how you can get GameCube and DS games running on your Wii U, using the original controller. Also BOTW was better on Wii U, it was originally made for it and has some nice visual effects to the environments, not in the Switch version. And the Wii U failed because before it launched Nintendo shutdown all the Nintendo channels on TH-cam can came out with that Nintendo Partner program right before it's launch! And absolutely no one marketed it or even uploading any content for it, as a backlash to Nintendo.

I bought one this month for my kids birthday next month. He turns 5. I've only tested it and tested games for a few minute so far but it seems fun. Bought some games for me too on the side lol that he can also grow into. Like every zelda game lol and xenoblade x. He enjoys the wii so i figured a wii u will be a decent gift.

GameStop is going RETRO. GameStop has 3,000 stores & new leadership that wants to make all better. This is a good move.

Their retro now just cause they added Xbox and Xbox 360 PS2 PS3 not really a big deal I saw what their selling the real retro are the classic games not the games with bad graphics would you rather play Pac-Man on Xbox one or NES 8 bit graphics classic games are the arcade games they go on every new consoles old consoles ruined the classic games

From what I see GameStop does buy older consoles such as the NES but they don’t keep them in the stores they send to online store not really retro but their slot cheaper then ebay and Disc Replay

GameStop is losing money on retro games because people are reselling the games for $100 of dollars GameStop only selling retro games because there not making money that’s why a lot of GameStop are going out of business

There's no need for new shops. Every location has a ton of wasted space. Time to get rid of Funko Pops. Electronics Boutique literally had a barrel full of PS2 games I would dig through for days.

Really nice video dude! I love playing through older games from these systems and was stoked to see that I have a store "Retro GameStop" within 20 miles of me! I'll be sure to check it out soon. Also, it's really cool to see Republic Commando getting more and more love these days. Just to let you know, the Xbox Series consoles downloads a digital copy of the game from the marketplace when a physical game is inserted, it uses your disk as verification to play the game rather than playing directly from it. See if you can try running the game on another 360 just to be sure it works. Sorry for the long comment!

I remember when Funcoland was the place to go for used games. Such good times. Then GameStop took the reins.

I haven’t collected any retro games in a while and this video inspired me to look up some titles I have been wanting physical copies of. I have to grow my gameboy collection.
