Tiki the Konnichihuahua
Japan
เข้าร่วมเมื่อ 3 มี.ค. 2020
Nathan and I moved to Sasebo, Japan in late 2019/ early 2020 with our Chihuahua, Tiki. Since we have been here we have moved into a larger house and expanded our family to include a second Chuihuahua, Brew and soon we will be welcoming our first human child!
The COVID chapter of 2020 was just starting when I arrived, but now that the world is adjusting to "the new normal" we are able to travel around Kyushu and the other islands in Japan.
We made this channel for family and friends, but I have learned I really like vlogging. Watch, like or subscribe to keep new videos coming!

Quick Trip- Kanagawa & Tokyo
We went to Kanagawa and Tokyo in June when Ronan was 7 months old. It was a big difference from Sasebo! Tokyo was busy and it was a lot harder to travel with the stroller. We had a great time overall, but next time... maybe we would try to go without babies.

My Tebori Tattoo Experience with Monta Morino
มุมมอง 1K2 ปีที่แล้ว
I was lucky enough to get 2 tattoos by Monta. He has a very recognizable style. The outlines of the tattoos were done by tattoo machine, and the color was all traditional japanese tebori. I had a wonderful experience with Monta and would highly recommend getting a tebori style tattoo. The colors achieved by this method of tattooing are unreal!

Roadtrip to Beppu
มุมมอง 732 ปีที่แล้ว
We took baby on his first roadtrip! Fun little 2 day trip to Beppu. Due to the COVID state of emergency, many places in Beppu were closed. We stopped in Kurume on the way back which is in Fukuoka Prefecture. Can't wait to do more trips with baby!
Our Trip to Nagasaki City: Feb 2021
มุมมอง 362 ปีที่แล้ว
This video is a throwback that I never uploaded. We have had the opportunity to visit Nagasaki City and Hiroshima City while living in Japan. Both of these cities have incredible memorials and museums where we were able to learn about the devastation the atomic bombs caused. We are grateful for the experience.
New Years Day Lunch in Japan
มุมมอง 232 ปีที่แล้ว
Nathan and I decided that this last year that we have here in Japan, we wanted to try more Japanese traditions. This New Years one of my great friends here helped me order some traditional foods for the holidays. For Christmas, it is common in Japan to eat KFC, but the stores sell out fast. Nathan opted to make his own, and it was delicious. For New Years, you order this bento from 711 and eat ...
A Video Diary of Birth Day. Labor & Delivery
มุมมอง 1562 ปีที่แล้ว
PLEASE BE ADVISED: There is a little bit of footage in the labor and delivery room, but it is tasteful. Nothing indecent or disturbing. My contractions started around 4AM and he was here by 6:43PM. We are so blessed and lucky to be his parents. We are so in love with our son. Hope you enjoy!!

Babymoon at Tokyo Disney & Tokyo Disney Sea
มุมมอง 4552 ปีที่แล้ว
We were able to visit Tokyo Disney and Tokyo Disney Sea in July of this year, I was 20 weeks pregnant at the time. This was perfect timing to visit during the pregnancy, but it was super warm! If you plan to go, maybe summer time isn't the best season. Hope you enjoy!
Quick Weekend Trip to Kumamoto
มุมมอง 433 ปีที่แล้ว
We went to Kumamoto in February of this year.. I know this video is a litttttttle late. Kumamoto is only a couple hours drive from Sasebo. We spent the first night in a tiki themed love hotel. Not worth the money, and it was hardly "tiki". We miss our tiki bars and rum cocktails in San Diego. The next day we went to Kumamoto City and explored the castle and surrounding areas. Nathan even tried ...

Ima buy one
Curious, if you had to pick one or the other, which would you do?
Hitotsuku beach?
That is such a cool car!
I’m loving this. Love the gardens, you guys, and watching this beautiful child grow.
КУКОЛКА ДЛЯ КУКОЛКИ 😁
like! sttunning video- see you later. bro~
Beautiful! The round design on the daruma looks like a hoju, a wish fulfilling jewel. You see a lot of them in Buddhist architecture :)
Looks like an intense method for tattooing! Nice piece.
Many malaysian people use this car bodypart
Perodua Kelisa......?
Very cool looking little car. I think those would sell well in America if they were available.
Japan is expensive to live Korea is reasonable place to live.
Thanks 🙏 for sharing! Your baby was so behaved 👍. Nicely done ✅.
Im about to transfer to Sasebo, 2 questions: 1. How far from the Naval Base? 2. How much for rent?
These apartments were less than 2 miles from base. I don't remember what the rent was.. maybe 1500 or 1600 for a 2 bedroom? it was a couple years ago, so prices may have changed since then. Best of luck with your move. It's great here!
@@tikithekonnichihuahua1831 i really appreciate the info.
I have the same !! He is so cute From Osaka.
Those little sweets looked tasty.
やはりミラジーノは木目👀じゃなきゃ〜。
Where did you park for this hike?
There is a small area near the trailhead that we parked at! It wasn't very big, maybe a few cars could fit!
That looks so good! it's beautifully placed too! great vid
I have never seen anything like that before. A Japanese version of a modern American suburban home in Japan. Killer view. Are you guys rock stars or something over there?
I have one too...save fuel
Thats fine for town driving..tiny .. fun n cute too to drive
Looks like a nice home. pretty far from everywhere i guess? but looks like a very cool neighborhood. Dig the awesome sunset view patio/balcony.
“Baby must be in your heart” 🥰 You are the most amazing lil momma. My strong, loving little girl. I love that you even thought to share this experience while you were in pain…. and doing that alone. Come home to the states soon. Watching you hold the baby after birth……. 🥰🥰🥰🥲🥲🥲 I love you!! Congrats Ash and Nathan. Welcome to the world lil grand baby Ronan! Gammy can’t wait to meet you.
I don't understand how the comb was helping? Awesome video. Welcome, Ronan!
It's weird, by squeezing the comb I felt pain in my hands which was distracting me from the pain of the contractions. It was like controlled pain... kind of a weird mental thing.. A few people recommended I try it and it really worked for me!
@@tikithekonnichihuahua1831 How weird but cool!
For someone who didn’t want kids ,you sure seem excited!🤣. Ashley!!!!
❤️😋🍼🎂 Come on out baby Leustek! You’re so loved all ready. I LOVE your creative nursery.. SO cute… We love you guys! Gammy can’t wait to meet you lil one.
What has taken you to Sasebo Japan?
Nathan has work out here :)
The karaoke machine next to the adult supplies is pretty hilarious.
This place was really tryna make sure you have a great time! haha
Awe, they locals don't tend to laugh at the cheesy jungle cruise jokes? what a shame! But interesting to find out. Thanks for sharing!
まじで、可愛い。 自分も同じ車乗ってます😃
We just moved back to the States after 8 years in Sasebo. We lived in Nonaka Cho in Sun Verde Nonaka apartments. It looked alot like your's except a little larger and further out. We loved it!
I love when people blip their hazards to say thanks. I see it here from time to time and i try to do it.
What’s the name of the complex?
Sorry for the late response! This was one of the Fleet Akasaki Complexes.
I LOVE this! You’re the cutest. I’m SO HAPPY! I love you guys!!!!! ❤️❤️ What a great video to have.
Oh man oh man oh Man congrats!
Heeeeeey! I went there, too. Cool to see you do a video on a place i remember quite fondly. Thanks for sharing!
Loving your hair… those trees are BEAUTIFUL. I WISH I could walk up to the deer here. You guys are so blessed to experience all of this. Thank you for sharing!!! Love you guys.
That's the second time you find a shirt from his hometown, huh? That's crazy.
No this was the same one! I posted it on Insta when i found it. :) Hope you've been well Vic!
Love the video. The blossoming trees are beautiful and that ice cream looked delicious. I'm no fan of mochi, though, haha. Y'all have fun with that :P Take care!
I'm not a huge fan of mochi either, but it was subtle. Miss you and hope you guys are doing well:)
I miss you guys so much!!!!!❤️💋
You guys are so blessed to be see these wonderful places. Loving the bangs Ash you look great! Love and miss you guys.
Now what’s an American tract house doing out east? Cool thing to see.
Your videos always make me want to go back, thanks for posting! :)
Nice house, it's quite big and especially by Japanese standards. Please use the camera zoom more and move the camera up and down to better show each room. The rear view of the bay is really awesome.
Also do you have to run this through HSC . a requirement for military. Not sure if process is the same since your a contractor
i will be moving there at the end of the year i need a place just like this! i need a garage for my drift car lol
We are the only people I know with a garage at the moment! It really isn't common for houses in Japan to have garages! Best of luck though, they do exist.
Congrats. Are you guys a military family? I've got orders to Sasebo and I enjoy your informative videos!
I am glad they are helpful. My husband is a contractor here in Sasebo. We love it here! I started this page mainly for family, but I am glad that you find it informative. I know before we moved here I searched for any youtube videos on Sasebo and there aren't many!
Yes you guys are one of the few pages I found Sasebo content. I've never been outside the country and I wanted to find as much information as possible about where I'll be living for the next 4 years. I want to get a place while I'm there but didn't know what to expect so I'm glad I've found videos like yours to help me. What's the are like when looking for a place and was it difficult for you two?
@@Gh13529 We moved into an apartment for 6 months but I never stopped looking for a house. We were very lucky. To be honest, right now it's moving season and a lot of people were extended here due to to COVID. I've heard that its been very difficult for people to find housing at all. Hoping that it gets better before you move! Also, if you havent added the facebook pages yet, those pages are a great resource for information!!!
My daughter and I are watching this so she can see what the houses are like, and she is excited if i get the job in Sasebo
We were very blessed to get this house. It's not often that one like this comes available. We spent 7 months in an apt before finding this perfect place! Sasebo is wonderful though. We absolutely love it here!
@@tikithekonnichihuahua1831 That makes me more excited to get the job so she can have the experience of living in Sasebo.
That’s soooo cool!
