As someone who just got into the series with Far Cry 5, hearing about how both 6 & 7 are not even worth it is kinda depressing. 5 is barely keeping up with modern games and I don’t think 4 and 3 would be enjoyable to start playing them now.

A lot of Valhalla's success could be attributed to Odyssey. Odyssey was amazing and the prospect of something similar but with with Vikings? They couldn't miss. I personally don't think Valhalla delivered though. It was far from bad, but in terms of mechanics and the overall experience, it was a downgrade imo. There's also going to be some competition this year and I don't think most gamers outside of Ubi fans are going to be jumping to grab Shadows. The dual protagonists doesn't feel great, even if it ends up playing well. I mean, that kind of breaks the already shaky ground they were standing on to be classed as an RPG. Also, they suck as a company lol. Worst in class customer service, and I have no feelings that they care about their fan base as any more than potential transactions. Sad, because they put out some beautiful works of art and the devs are incredibly talented. I wish nothing but the best for them (the devs) and hope they find good, loving homes if things come crashing down. Ubi as a brand will not be missed by me, though

People complain that games like Far Cry don't ever shake up the formula, but then you complain when they do. No wonder they tend to just copy and paste what they know works. Make up your minds do you want something new or just Far Cry 3 on a different map?

Ubisoft canada is different than US. They have more creative and artistic workers.

I really enjoyed Far Cry 6. If the next one is on a timer there is 0% chance I ever give it a try

AC shadows is also down right bad its not even worth trying even for free from what i seen.

Short version the happies news i can hear in 2025 is ubisoft closing. And never hear from them again.

As for the POP franchise they should heave focused on POP 1 remake to make it right, not that trash game.

I mostly don't watch videos like this but even without watching and stop the video at the start i can say that ubisoft is deadge and anyone who still gives them money is brainless. I did swear i will never buy an ubisoft product again and i keep that even after 4 years. But AC Mirage got cracked(to play for free) and i checked it out and from what i seen in the first hours its just a game that looks new but most of the futures are from AC 1/2. The gameplay feels like a true AC game but since they killed the story after after AC 3 no matter what they do there's no AC anymore. The focus of the main story was the modern day and the end was AC 3 there should heave never been any other AC games when they decided in AC 4 to remove the modern day and ignore it 100% in future games.

generally i hate timers but i am not saying i am not gonna play farcry 7 if they do the time limit thing, also keep in mind that there are timers within the time mostly , that means even if you success within the full time , you could still fail some parts . as a good thing about it , i think it offers realtime events and possibly simultainious events that you have to choose between to fill the repliablity aspekt , hopefull that is not confusing to follow . and i think having a timer will hinder playing side quests or limit them based on how much time you have between missions. i think if they give us the choise to start sequenses and give us no time limit in between that could be a middle ground, since realtime events do have something to offer but but all the time is quite stressfull!!

With the days gone possible change to what I wanted a Division style zombie survival game for ps5!! I want a full open world looting crafting and surviving

It’s not exactly accurate to say Shadows could either save or destroy Ubisoft It could definitely save Ubisoft if it performs (very) well, but if it doesn’t and Ubisoft ends up “destroyed”, then it wouldn’t be because of AC Shadows’s failure, it would be the consequence of almost 10 years of stupid moves and bad decisions

I been gaming since the Mario and duck hunter came out I was around 3 yrs old. I remember rainbow six black cartridge N64 the way they screwed that series up tells me they brought in these young people who enjoy BS like Minecraft that's why there failing the grown-ups aren't in charge anymore

For Honor is probably the most unique game Ubi has and the game is on life support, like the Devs are doing the best they can with the budget they have, but Ubi is doin nothing with the game or the tech of of the game for other releases. It is really a shame. I for one will play it until they pull the plug like they did with The Crew 1....

How can you make a Star Wars game nobody wants? Easy! Don’t let people play as a jedi. Don’t let people create their own character. Don’t allow players to choose their own ship. Don’t put any recognisable planets (other than Tatooine) in your game.. We don’t even need to discuss the mediocre gameplay and mediocre story after the first points. You’re doomed if the basis of your game sucks in the eyes of fans.

Far Cry® 4 is my favorite Far Cry® game out of the Far Cry® Series/Franchise.

Shadows will lose and jorraptor finally stops D riding ubislop.

Sometimes i wish they went back to something more straightforward, or at least that the amount of hours in the game had a better balance of discovery and progress. Valhalla is so ridiculously big that you could spend hours and completing tons of missions just to get an armor upgrade. It was the only AC game that I got so bored I didn’t finish.

If ubisoft is Relying on ac shadows than they already lost. Ubisoft is just intent to die on their own hill. Forcing online only on single player games. As much as I like ac odyssey I'm not supporting ac shadows due to the day 1 manutory online install. If they ever come to their senses and change this I may buy.

imo GTA 6 graphics are only slightly better than GTA 5's and hopefully some mod can get GTA 4 to have a vanilla but still upgraded... it's possibly lighting really
