Thanks for the great tutorial on how to wire a doll house, I had no clue, I've been looking at the led strips, or the tealights, also saw some cute book likes that look like they can be modded to make some light and they are rechargable so it's something to consider when you want to have some actual lamps or lighting that you can turn off individually.

Hey Carl great video on soldering. So I followed your instructions and yesterday it all worked perfectly just the way you said but today the solder won't stick to the tip of the soldering iron no matter how many times I stab it into the brass thingy, the solder just rolls up into a ball. Does that mean the tip is blown already?

I'm about to install a chandelier. The floor above has already been glued down. What is the best option to run power from the chandelier to the nearest available power source? I will be using the CK800 canopy adapter, or the CK806 ceiling plate. Will I run a tunnel from the chandelier for the wiring, or will I use joint compound to disguise the tape wire? This will be a reno for a customer and I'm very nervous about trying this

I've learned to solder, use adapters, and how to use the tape wire successfully. I wish I'd found you when I completed my Mrs. Clause Kitchen because none of my lighting works in that house! HA I can't wait to see your next videos.

would there be a problem using incandescent mini lights from Christmas tree string in a doll house? I found if I remove a bulb from the holder (socket) it works with a 9 volt battery. Of course unlike the LEDs it gets hot.

I am trying to understand transformers. I do not see a video on that subject. All the numbers watts, volts input output. I have one on a strip but I never know if a lamp is going to work also the bulb seems too dim. Is there a video like the 'books for dummies' series somewhere?

Your videos are great. I now understand how to wire a dollhouse or room box. Will watch all the videos many times. Is this all that is needed to hook up the power to the dollhouse or is there a transformer or something else? I thought power source had something to do with the number of bulbs in the house. Could you do a video on real house plug to dollhouse or room box connection? Could you also put in the video the methods of using types of batteries for small items (like Jack-o-lanterns) and room boxes?

Best video on soldering on You Tube. Even better than the Weller video. Really needed to know about the parts that darken and oxidize but you don't have to worry about. And leaving solder on the tip when finished with it.
