Do you sell these?
@@shayzoo2 we can Certainly build you one but we don't have a kit or anything like that.
OM314 , one of my favourite engines ever. solid workhorse, nearly unbreakable
Nice! Clean burning LPG. No Stinky diesel !
Exactly!
What heater is that?
Thats one awesome van man.
Thanks Rob!
Nice build.
Thanks! Hope the ambo is working out for you!
@@97Customs we’re still working on it. Should be ready for travel in a couple of months. Taking longer than expected.
@@HogTide_Rising they usually do!
Best Xterra kitchen I've seen. Great job buddy!
Nice work on the filming. Love to see others in the Okanagan doing cool stuff. Props!
Bomber. Nice meeting you here in Vernon.
Great to meet you as well, excited to check out your camper project!
Nice work.
Nice build. How did it go with that Ambo you were working on for a friend?
It turned out really nice, I will be posting about it soon ish lol
@@97Customs Hello- great work! I have a 2018 Honda-CRV, Will this 2022 conversion fit in a 2018? If so, how much does this conversion costs?
I love ❤.
Nice work! Quick question, how did you mount it on the floor. Did you use the existing tracks or bolted down on the metal floor. Tia.
Thanks Chris, it is bolted into the existing tracks using spring nuts
Nice job, probably the best thought out Xterra drawer system I've seen! I'm copying a lot of your ideas
Thanks for the compliment, enjoy your build!
*I think you do a great job!!* 💚
I think that space over the door is always overlooked. Why was the bed so high?? You can't sit up in bed. And it would be hard for the dog to get up into the bed.
Smallest fridge I have ever seen. I think those drawer fridges are a waste because the side's don't go up very far which means you can't take advantage of the whole space. A chest fridge would have been better even though it may have taken up a little more space. Why don't they make chest fridges where the motor/compressor are on the bottom. You should have that option.
The customer chose the fridge and I built to that. Almost every aspect of my builds are chosen by the customer with my guidance. In this case they didn't want or need a large chest fridge which is much heavier and quite bulky. This drawer fridge is actually very compact and uses space efficiently
@@97Customs I agree, it's compact. I figured they chose the fridge. It was just my thoughts on the fridges
Wouldn't you have more space in the drawer's if you used metal L brackets spaced to fit the divider's and even use the thin paneling board's for divider's?? Seems the way you have it takes up precious storage space. I know it may not seem like alot of gained space but if it is as small as that, I would think it would be. 🤷🏻♀️
Thin dividers would be less rigid, half an inch of saved space is negligible. Metal brackets are tacky and unnecessary in this application in my opinion. Dado is a much better joint.
Looks awesome 😎 👍
That van is too cute to be true. It's CGI, isn't it?
What brand is the kitchen water pump faucet? Mine looks the same (from Amazon) but I’m really interested in that matching counter mount!
Semmuburry is the brand I purchased but as typical with this generic Chinese stuff there's likely other options. I got it on Amazon but have found them on Ali Express as well
@@97Customs Found it on Ali - thank you!
Thanks for sharing! I would love to see more of your work!
Me too!! He should definitely do more videos. I also wouldn't mind seeing some how to videos.
Im guessing you use a CNC to cut everything out …nice build…keep them coming
This was built prior to me having the CNC but I have all the measurements for when the next customer wants one I will draw it up for the CNC!
You are on target with what you do and I will enjoy watching your site grow.
Thanks Ron, appreciate the support!
Such a cool vehicle! That ceiling must’ve been a nightmare to figure out and make - it looks amazing though!
The ceiling was most certainly a challenge!!
I have a 1998 Chevy 1-ton Diesel Van I have been working on, I am just retiring from my job @ 65yrs old, I am going to build this out to do some long stretches of van-life... Not my first go at this.. In 1995 I had a 1974 Chevy C-10 van that I traveled around the US in and in 1978 I had a 1964 Chevy Panel truck that was my ride for a few years.. I love the Van Life.. I drove big trucks for many years, and living in a sleeper has a lot of the same challenges and experiences.. My 1998 is not 4x4, but still running Falken tires on it.. It is a 6.5 Chevy Diesel with 280k on it.. the engine runs flawlessly .. --I am not 100% sure of how I am going to set up the inside yet, as I have a few working concepts in my head.. So I am following a lot of Van builds to see what I like and don't like and will use some of that with 3-million miles of OTR Trucker living and combine that into my van.. I am out of West Virginia.. So not even close to where you are.. I watch Forestry's channel on occasion, so this is where I got your channel from and got some ideas on insulating with wool.. Much appreciated.. -Cheers..
great project!
Wandered over from foresty ... looking forward to seeing your build videos. Good luck
Should have another one up this week!
Cool to see the tour video! Awesome van 👍
Thanks Simon, Mike @rhythmproductionsca did a great job on it!
@@97Customs Thank you, Calvin!!! It was a blast to create for you :)
@@97Customs huh, did you not build it???

I don't have my van yet but always welcome inspiration from enthusiasts such as yourself! Sub #71🤣🤣👍🏻
Any friend of Foresty's a friend of mine! 😁😆
Oh so very sad, my 2007 Nissan Exterra was totaled in June of 2021:( I miss it so much! I am now in a Subaru Outback, now looking for a 4 season van.
The Canadian fan is fascinating. Why not lithium ion batteries? ? Havelock wool is good. Is it in floor, ceiling, and walls? Doors? Cab? .... What is the wood on the ceiling? I definitelu do Not do either instagram or facebook, but will subscribe to TH-cam:)
Hi Susan, the customers camp regularly in cold climate and do not have a dedicated heater. The lithium batteries will not charge when they are below 0 degrees Celsius so without a heater to heat them up they will eventually run out of power. Secondly they are quite expensive and they didn't feel the need for how much power they use. the floor is foam board insulation, the wool would get compressed and lose majority of the R value it has. the ceiling is 5/16 pine T&G. Thanks for the sub!!
@@97Customs I am talking camping in a van below 0 Fahrenheit! Not just Celsius. As to lithium ion versus other batteries, I am more concerned with good functioning than with cost. And yes lithium ion needs to be kept warm. Cedar is far less likely to mildew than pine from my own experience, and I would want that in ceiling and walls. I will not use any propane heater that puts moisture into the inside of the van. You do have a good comment as to why insulation board is used in the floor and I do agree:)
@@susanshaver912 welllll, lol. Not everyone agrees or has the same views as you. 🙄 And by the way, no one cares if you think you are an expert, *which you aren't.*
@@susanshaver912 it is just a fan that anyone anywhere can buy on Amazon and other places. That one is just made in Canada. Also you didn't say whether you live in F° or C° and the temperature he is referring to will be the same just do the conversion or do you not know how. And not everyone is rich like you to be able to afford those batteries. And in case you didn't know, cedar cost more. With the wool insulation they wouldn't have to worry about mold because it will cut the moisture. He never said what heat was gonna be used. So it doesn't matter what heat *you* use because *this* van isn't yours, is it. Why would you ask if he used the wool insulation on the floor. It would mash flat. I don't have the *experience* he has and I know that. It's common sense, don't ya think.?? What did you use?? And I'm sure *the person who has a business building out vans* is happy you agree. I would like to see the professional job you did on yours. So if you're so experienced, why were you asking him questions.
If FF likes you, so do I. And I like people who use great products like Havelock Wool. How far are you from the UP of Michigan?
Thanks Susan! I'm in British Columbia over on the west coast so not to close to Michigan!
Super cool!

Looks good - will a canopy be going on top to protect it?
Yes it will have a canopy, the owner was picking it up the next day!
