Anyone who knows about his past or romances Astarion and assures him that little/no sex in their relationship isn't a deal breaker shows they never cared about Astarion's past when they take the drow twins up on their offer. Even if Astarion gives his blessing/agrees to join in, his behavior during the act shows he's not into it (he's 100% disassociating, every time); and why would anyone who claims to care about Astarion's feeling put him through that?

Larian did a great job with the dialogue, no doubt. However, many of the character lines are still ridiculous. If you saved Mintara, it's pretty weird that she responds so rudely. That would only be appropriate if you abandoned her. P.S. How can you feed Mintara so poorly that the blood vessels in her face turn black!
