Their sacrifices became necessary to counter overwhelming odds. The Wyrmkin’s ancient powers, once channeled through the Fatetowers and Rift Cannons of Rashadama, had long shielded Flux and Forge, two cities central to the continent’s defenses. However, under the demigod Rahza Din’s command, renegade forces unleashed chaos that nearly breached these safeguards. In their final stand, the six warriors harnessed fragments of the Wyrmkin’s latent energy to repel the assault, ensuring Annai’s survival at the cost of their lives. The fallen warriors included: Cherus: Slain by Xadreth the Dreadlord while defending the Caverns of Apotheosis. Mergasdi: Struck down by Krathos, the Warlord, wielding an ancient Wyrmkin blade. Norvus: Killed battling Vorlaath’s Crushing Fury, which employed seismic magic to shatter defenses. Unurpex: Fell to The Voidbringer in the Undermountain Charity, a region tainted by lingering dark magic. Krin: Defeated by Slyndor, a renegade wielder of forbidden spells. Aepedayn: Sacrificed himself to The Voidbringer to shield surviving defenders. Their collective sacrifice not only fortified Annai’s defenses but also underscored the steep price of safeguarding their world. Their legacy endures as a testament to the Wyrmkin’s enduring influence and the resilience of those who stood against annihilation.
