Quality interviews mate. Keep up the good work!
Thanks @andykilburn6961 🙌🙌
Going to be that guy, but its 1Gb not 1GB ;)
haha thanks Martin!
you climbed all the way up there to do an interview and not show around... could have done it in the office....
Thats is actually an utterly fair comment 😂
@@Fibrenews I guess you not allowed to disclose much about the equipment up there and how it works?
we did use them when i was working for my previous employer at london oxford street, and speeds were great but reliability is a different story altogether, not to mention the weather... we were desperate for a temp solution till our fiber were available, as soon fiber arrived we switched over and only kept wireless as a temp backup solution
Great video and questions. He says 100% SLA, and then mentions 99.99%. Which is still 52mins a year. Granted 100% is a bold claim, but 99.x (five nines or six nines should be a real world aim)
99.99% is the correct SLA 👌 Out interviews are unscripted and off the cuff, so some information may get ever so slightly incorrect from time to time 🙂
@@Fibrenews ha of course I was just being annoying =). Sorry, really awesome content!
@@bhco haha not annoying at all! Thanks for the kind words 🙌🙌
Yes, but it isn't just rural, it has lead to many ISPs chucking Full Fibre everywhere including Openreach.
Finally I get to see a regular person rather than an AI video or random channel promoting 1Tbps for playing a game of Fifa while offline XD.
Have you got a loicense for that?
Keyword: "Upto" - rarely do you get what is advertised
You're not wrong! ISPs in the UK have to state a "minimum" and "guaranteed" speed when signing up for the service. On Full Fibre, the minimums are close to the actual speeds to fair to many of the networks.
Even if you have 2000terra of speed a second , THE SERVERS LIMIT THE DOWNLOADS
It's rare that users ever hit a download limit in the UK. Almost all ISP's provide a "unlimited usage" offering.
Me happy with750 kps
Interesting. What do you use the internet for :)?
