Trying out these video modes on a bike ride and on a smooth surface. I think RockSteady gives the video more of a POV while Horizon Balance is more for cruising.

Having to go trough the smart-phone app to add the GPS data to the video file is a royal pain in the southern most region. It should be recorded by the camera as it records the video. Poor planning and design.
what is the advantage to use the rocksteady mode ? and what is different rockysteady vs rocksteady+? I am so confuse
In my opinion I would use rocksteady when doing action activity as the camera will move with the tilt. Rocksteady+ has better stabilization but has a smaller crop area.
Can you use any other programs except the mimo app? Do you know any?
GPS data will not transfer unless it goes through the mimo app as far as I know. You can always edit any videos using any software after.
Great no filler video. Much appreciated mate. Think HB might be best for when mounted on vehicles, as a FPV it feels off compared to RS. Guessing because a vehicle doesn't change angle as it moves like our heads do.
Yeah, I think RS is best used for action stuff. However on HB, if the camera sees your hood, you will see the hood of the car shift angles while the horizon stays steady.
Problem I came across is doing for example long videos with overlay. Longer video cuts in smaller clips usually approx 20 minutes and data cant be added to merged clips. It can only be added to individual clips and distance always starts from zero.
I think this is a really big problem and very inconvenience for user. The same thing happens to GoPro, though.
Dji osmo action 2 vs insta360 go 3s? Which has better details in 4k? Which is better for pov?😊
Go 3s is more versatile, 4K detail can be debatable (many factors) and definitely Go 3s for POV.
Price of only go 3s camera?
$240 for the 64GB & 270 for the 128GB
Does this also work the other way around? Go 3 camera in the Go 3S action pod?

The video is regarding first use and a quick edit. Remote pairing with camera might be found on other TH-camrs video.
How accurate is the GPS in your opinion? I always thought the build in GPS in the older Gopros was horrible inaccurate. What would you say about this combination for the DJI Osmo?
No problem is accurate
If you meant the speed accuracy, I made another video to compare DJI GPS vs Insta360 GPS and against car speedometer.

The videos don't work well on horizontal views when comparing side by side.
does the insta 360 ace pro carry an additional remote?
No remote comes with the ace pro unless you buy a remote combo kit.
Does it appear if I use it with insta360 x3?
It is wider than the X3 camera body so a little bit of it shows if used with the X3
Bought a Bluetooth gps remote yesterday from dji directly came to day very fast service … opened the box read instructions etc pressed the button to turn it on nothing pressed the button twice still nothing no green light so put it on charge still nothing changed the cable and plug and still nothing ..contacted dji just to be told someone will get in touch in 2 days time Not very good after care to be honest so now waiting to hear back from Dji for a Refund or a new one but after this experience thinking I made a mistake buying the dji Osmo action 4 should of got the new go pro 12volt 360 instead not a happy bunny to be honest
My GPS remote did have battery power off the box and when I do charge it, the green light does flash.
Yes they replaced it straight away had to send it back to Dji in Holland ,took around 7days to get it back …all good now
How do you manage to export video with the GPS data in 4k with DJI Mimo app? I'm limited to 1080p.
That was never an issue for me. Filmed in 4K and just exported it as it is.
The mic looks so clunky attached to it!
Maybe, but it's not a cage issue. The cage just have a cutout where it lets the receiver fit in. I don't know if there are any other cages that allow that. DJI Mic 2 is a different story, though.
@@charmv4774Yes more a DJI thing. The Osmo and Mic don’t look made for each other. The Smallrig is ok, but useless with a gimbal. If you use a gimbal a lot don’t bother.
@@BrekMartin DJI Mic 2 is out but Mic 1 can still be used with phones. As far as gimbal goes I wouldn't need a cage while the cam is on a gimbal, cage only used for more active stuff. I have different brand cage for GoPro, don't use one for Go3, Ulanzi for X3, and waiting for a Smallrig cage for AcePro.
Work well, for few video.... now, have no more access to all data.... everytime I try to add all the data, only 3 can be add... elevation...route...total distance... all they other don't want to be add...????
