NN 5x76 Dragon Frames - Last flow skate before the snow fell
มุมมอง 1.7K3 ปีที่แล้ว
This was the last video that I shot during the fall weather. Still practicing wizard moves on my NN Dragons frames. The frames are amazing and they really give a variety of option for inline skating creativity. I’m still getting use to it then probably practice more and be more creative when it comes with the Wizard style of skating. I hope you all like this video and if you did, don't forget t...

Hi everyone, Here’s the follow-up video of me skating with the 5x76 NN Dragon frames. So far it’s been fun to skate with but I’m still getting used to the longer length of the frames. I’m really enjoying that “V rocker” from these frames. In this video, you’ll see me flow skating on one of the iconic spots in Scarborough, Toronto, ON. I found a good spot as well where I tried to practice some w...

      I use a 41 EU boot size for my Seba SX 2. 76 mm sure works well specially for Wizard moves as it keeps you a bit lower to the ground for more balance. But if you require more speed, I'd go with the 80 mm frame.

    • @edrik_b4678
      @edrik_b4678 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you for your comment. I believed that the frame length comes in standard at 273. I used to have the Seba 4x84 that came with my SX2 skates. for comparison I switch to these frames because I wanted learn wizard skating but I couldn't afford wizard frames. And these frames having that natural 1mm rocker, I was able to practice that style of skating. Plus it's much easier for turns and slides and it's cheap lol. I hope that helps my friend. Happy skating.

    Hi Erik,can the frame position be adjusted on the SX2,also how did find the sizing,e.g if you are using size 41 boot with size 26 cm liner would it be the same on the SX2?

    • @edrik_b4678
      @edrik_b4678 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Gary, how's it going? for the frame positioning, unfortunately there is only one position slot for mounting the frame to the boot. There maybe some very tiny way for moving the frame when mounting it but for the slot yeah there's only one position as this is mostly used as an Aggressive boot. For the sizing, I find it that it's a bit tighter than my Seba SX (carbon) and pretty much like my regular shoe size (EU 41 / US 8). The built in liner for my boot sure does mold into my feet after a month of daily skating. Let me know if that helps answer your question buddy. Happy skating!

    • @edrik_b4678
      @edrik_b4678 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      So far, for a regular skating wise and practicing flat land (Wizard skating) yes I am happy with the wheel size. They are fast enough for my regular neighbourhood skating. But if you want more speed I suggest go with the 80 or 90. Also, for 5x wheels setup, you might need to get use to the longer frame. For me it was a bit tricky as i get clipped a lot for crossovers and turns at first. But eventually got it to work. I hope that helps.

It may not be as fast as bigger wheels but I guess that would depend on the wheels itself I think. But overall I'd rate it 9 / 10. But If you like wizard skating man that would be a 10 / 10. Cool vid but I've been asking different self-filmers in order to make a good decision on a camera purchase: Which 360 cam is this? Certainly can't be the X2 or R, as I see lots of aberrations in the background and at the final zoom in.

      Thanks for the comment. Actually this was filmed using my Insta360 one R. Regarding the aberrations, I didn't do much editing on this video and aberrations are pretty common for 360 cameras as far as my experience go that's why I don't mind. I have a separate video camera when it comes to professional work anyway. But for random content and skating vids, I'd strongly recommend the One R or X2. Cheers!

      You're gonna love them. They are really great skates specially for me who's getting back to blading and re-learning some skills and tricks. 😉💯👍

    Question, skating that boot without the soulplates, will it damage the shell?

      Thank you William for your question. Actually, the boot/shell feels like it's made out of strong plastic type. I've been skating this for a while now and definitely crashed a lot of times but it's still whole and looks great.
