I remember when MadTV reruns used to dominate the Comedy Central daytime slots back in the 2000s. Now it seems like the episodes are impossible to find. They aren't available on any streaming service for anything other than purchase, and have long been forgotten by actual TV channels. Without TH-cam, it'd be hard to find much of it easily and free for a show that used to dominate.

MadTV wasnt always better than SNL. But there was a sweet spot of seasons/years that it was infinitely better than SNL. You could always count on Mad to be more edgy and go a little further than SNL. Although SNL in the 90s was on fire for a time. Some of the MadTv legacy characters like Stuart, Lorraine and Ms Swan etc...were never funny to me. But I would always watch basically for anything Will Sasso and Michael McDonald did because they generally always delivered and made everything funny. Caliendo also had the best impressions. There were always a couple skits per show that didnt land though. Mainly with the unfunny characters. But there was a point i remember watching mid 00s onward where none of it was really funny at all. Probably because all the best cast members left. But Mainly SNL , which still continues to be unfunny, after 20 years. Sorry kristen wigg, samberg, kenan hader that whole era sucked and it never got better.
