Welcome back to our sixth vlog! This week, we embraced the festive spirit while making steady progress on our farmhouse renovation. Between holiday decorating, outdoor projects, and baking, it was a wonderfully productive and cosy week.
Inside the house, we hung up new lights, updated our mailbox, and gave the attic a long-overdue cleaning. We also got into the Christmas spirit by decorating the living room tree and dressing up the stove mantel for the very first time-it felt so festive! Meanwhile, the kitchen smelled amazing as we baked banana and chocolate bread pudding and homemade cookies.
Outside, Dad worked on clearing overgrown grass to reveal hidden pebble stones and gave the roof a much-needed cleaning. We also took a refreshing break to visit a farm market in Belaye, where we enjoyed seeing animals like goats, chickens, and donkeys.
