John took Hollys addiction too personally! People who are addicts will always put their addiction first. Even before their family. It’s an illness at the end of the day. Shouting at someone to stop taking drugs rarely works. They have to do it on their own.

Why didn’t they call an ambulance for Holly? Even if they thought she was withdrawing it’s still really dangerous and obviously she was in agony.
