The Platform to Protect Whistleblowers in Africa (PPLAAF) is a non-governmental organisation established in 2017 to protect whistleblowers, as well as to advocate and engage in strategic litigation on their behalf when their revelations deal with the general interests of African citizens.

In this interview, we sit down with Congolese #whistleblower Jean-Jacques Lumumba. Lumumba was head of the credit department at the Congolese BGFI Bank. He blew the whistle on shady activities implicating President Kabila and his close associates - threatened with a gun to stay quiet, he fled his homeland and bravely revealed this massive #corruption scandal.

Tout cela est connu. Des reportages l'ont déjà dénoncé. Sans parler de son rôle de lobbying direct auprès du chef de l'état (antérieur?) pour le dissuader de réclamer plus de revenus du pétrole congolais. Et ainsi favoriser les compagnies pétrolières.
