Pinnacle Ridge Scramble

Kris and Mira climbing the famous Pinnacle Ridge. It was a beautiful sunny day and the scramble treated us to some excellent views. We could have done it without any ropes but wanted to practice our rope work.

This cave trip pushed me. It was deeper than I had been before with several abseils and stretches of narrow passages that make you wonder if it's doable. Filming conditions are difficult down there so much so that my camera doesn't survive the last ascent. But we managed to rescue a frog that we found in the deepest reaches of the cave. This bathroom has always been part of staff accommodation and it was time for an upgrade. My task was the painting after the refurbishment and a clean up. 3 March 2021

It was a hot day so we decided to explore the famous Esk Gorge and oh boy, did it live up to its reputation. The best gorge I've ever been in. It was a long and sweaty walk and so we welcomed many pools to jump in and waterfalls to climb, just a stunning place. This video does not do it justice. Recorded 18 July 2022
