Come, come Mr. Julian Fellowes, I bet you have been thinking long and hard on how to put in that retort in the show, eh? " I don't care if you are the Queen of the Upper Nile!" So good, and so well written, instead of using Queen of England, you wrote of the Upper Nile, well done, well done! Bravo!
Is this medically sound? Could Anna have a miscarriage in the morning and work later in the day? Could she have had more miscarriages without anyone noticing?
She probably shouldn't have been working but given that she spends most of the day of her sons birth on her feet I doubt that would have stopped her. She also miscarried very early, which would have helped a little in that regard
I’ve done it. It’s like a very heavy period. We work through pain. Fun watching men respond to period pain with tens machines. The women get to 10 easily and the men start screaming at 2-3.
A misscariage sometimes is just like a heavy period in the end, depending on how used you are to a heavy period it might be hard but working is still possible, especially, if the misscariage happens quite early, which seems to be the case for Anna. You should not work, of course. But back then everything that had to do with the female body was basically something dirty and bad no one ought to talk about, so looking at the time Anna lived in, it was just something she wouldn´t have told anyone to begin with.
I started watching DA to see what the fuss was all about, I found it laughable but got caught up in this fabulous story between these two that I had to endure all the fluff just to find out what happened to them
The aristocracy used to hire special trains to convey their staff on long trips. Including the horses and the grooms, who would travel with the animal in specially constructed waggons.
but they have a lovely friendship and it shows throughout the whole show again and again. Like, when Lady Sybill died, when Thomas tried to take his life, she was always kind to him, and thought Thomas couldn´t stand Bates and was hella petty towards him, he never said a bad word against Anna and treated her like a sister that just married the wrong guy. Thomas is a great character and I love his sassy acting, while being so vulnerable.
"There isn't a couple in a world that had has more trouble than us" no truer words and no sadder words. LIKE GIVE THEM A BREAK JULIAN And to add to all the drama, the front of Anna's hair this season just NOOO
Lol Lady Rose telling Anna what fun it is once the baby is born. Probably because she’s got an army of nannies caring for the baby, doing the late night feeds and nappy changes!
I admit I had some help from the daddy and the grandmothers, but I for sure preferred the late night feeds and diaper changes to continuing to be 9 months pregnant (let alone in labor.)
Well, at least once you've had the baby, there are fun parts. There's also parts that aren't fun, but key word *also*. What's fun about being pregnant? Getting kicked in the bladder?
Anna a Bates patří mezi mé nejoblíbenější postavy a herce v serialu❤
Both BRENDAN ND ANNA are the cream of Downton thank you for showing these clips brilliant 👍👍👍👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I honestly didn't like the Anna, Mr Bates relationship. Mr Bates felt like a creep to me. Gave me a lot of goosebumps
A creep? How?

Theyre so sweet 😭😭😭❤
Brendan Cole a fantastic actor and a fantastic man and Anna plays a brilliant couple I love Downton 👍❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Did you know his birth name is David?
I remember crying my heart out when they finally had their happy ending T_T
Who was glad to see the back of O'Brian? Every act was twisted and self-serving. Not to mention Lady Grantham's soap. 😠
The best couple of Downton❤
"Mr. Stick it-up-your-jumper." 😅 😂
She loves him SO much and he loves her twice as much. We love them both. He had me when O'Brian deliberately kicked his stick away from him.
Mr Bates is such a decent and honest man. He and Anna are perfect for one an other.
I wonder when the child is older will he call his father Mr Bates? Oh, and who’s John?
Mr bates
3:42 "This time it's over." At last, at last! 🎉 Thank you Julian. 😂

Eu adorava a Deise, mas ficou insuportável depois q se apaixonou pelo Alfred 😂😂😂
"Yes, I'll be putting my feet up." Literally. In the stirrups. LOL.
Lady Mary, ruwe bolster, blanke pit

Thomas and Anna would have had such a lovely friendship if the writers had treated him kindly
Yessss😢❤

She was there for such an iconic ep

...I was thinking that! She probably only did the "fun" parts!
I admit I had some help from the daddy and the grandmothers, but I for sure preferred the late night feeds and diaper changes to continuing to be 9 months pregnant (let alone in labor.)

Marys reaction when Annas water broke is just so ...so ... SO MARY
Yesssss❤😂
Spoiler Alert: Thank Goodness Anna and Bates had their baby eventually! I do believe they would have been happy eitherway, yet they so deserved it.
Anna and Bates are the best characters ❤
Yesss❤
I love the relationship between Anna and Mary you can see the respect.
As an older male viewer, I'm just sorry I was 65 years or so too young for Anna...
Funny how Mr bates threat one of his inmates
How he threat 🦧🦧
Hard not to cry while watching 4:20 😭
