This is a wonderful community event, and I appreciate all the effort that goes into organizing it. One suggestion I’d like to offer, as an attendee, is to place a stronger emphasis on cleanliness throughout the entire duration of the festival. Cleanliness holds significant importance in Islam, as it is considered half of our faith. Given that this event is both popular within the Muslim community and visible to the broader public, it’s essential that we reflect these values in our actions. While I recognize and appreciate the volunteers who help with clean-up at the end of the event, I believe it would be beneficial to designate some volunteers specifically for maintaining cleanliness throughout the day. This would ensure that the festival area remains tidy at all times. How we care for our environment sends a message to those outside our community, and maintaining a clean, positive image is important for fostering goodwill and respect.

the parking looks bigger than the fair
We had 4 parking lots that were overflowing just for parking and we had 1 dedicated to the festival. For the Suhoor Fest we take 2 parking lots in order to accomodate the Suhoor Fest and the Light Festival.
