how did you arrive at the 25m per level wind number?
Someone told me that number then I verified it.
@@atomic2354it's different for every shell type and distance shot. At min distance the wind displacement is way less then at max distance, so the 25 meters number is only true for some very specific circumstances

@@atomic2354 oh, so sorry I didn't check the description. Any idea on the limitations of this wind rule? is it in the code or a rule of thumb? Shouldn't it technically be possible to hit yourself firing into the wind at lets say 100m in a level 4-5 wind?
@@beense123 Its not a rule of thumb it is, as far as I can tell, the exact rule used by foxhole to determine where the shell lands. I would expect that you could hit yourself with arty in a T4 wind, although T4 and T5 winds are very rare. T3 is the highest I typically see.

Offset every 100m?? or all distance? uf we use SC or 150mm on 350meters, with lvl 3 wind, it was be + 75m or 75m every 100m?
The total distance does not affect the offset. But keep in mind the SC has a different offset than the 150mm does.
@@atomic2354 does this mean that with a tailwind of the second level, a 120mm projectile will fly 100 meters + 50 and 250 meters + 50? A bit weird, but okay)

how wind works on rail big gun ? wind calculates from where it shooting? dispersion is same for all 300 mm ?
and where did you get this info if wiki is empty about exact numbers?
I believe the tempest cannon has a 50m per wind level offset but I haven't tested it. The wind at the location of the gun matters.

I believe it's 5 meters per wind level but I haven't verified that.
Wind dispersion on rockets?
They're the same as 120 shells, 25 meters per wind level.

Instructions unclear. Killed 13 friendlies my first shot.
They should add that ruler tool in the ingame map honestly, also a better way to figure out wind levels.
Maybe make them a feature of the drawing boards in bunkers?

War 23 was my first war. Mad respect for the tenacious Colonials who fought us tooth and nail till the end. Like many Wardens, I was there in the landing. I still had no clue what I was doing, but I was hoodwinked into the op that destroyed the Plankhouse. When I saw that you were driving a Bardiche, I was hoping that I'd see you traveling south and encounter the jeep that I was riding in. Alas, it was a different tank crew, but it'd be so funny if I saw my crew being massacred from the other point of view. The best thing was that I alone escaped the carnage, dodging shells left and right, and ran off a cliff. The Bardiche drove right up to the cliff and tried to kill me, but they couldn't get an angle. Assuming that I was doomed to drown, they left me. Unwilling to die in this way, I swam back to the landing site, hugging the cliff and getting just enough stamina to swim another 10 meters. I ended up crossing the hex swimming, gained enough stamina to make it the last 50 meters to a rock I could climb up and escape my watery grave. I made it back to my comrades still covered in my own blood from the shell that landed near me. Fought at Sitaria too just before it was nuked. Even I realized that it was a waste. We were right on the outskirts. I wish that we had played out the war till the end instead of using nukes. You Meseans went onto get your revenge in the War 24. The longest and deadliest war of Shard 2.

@WolfieMario You don't even have to rename items, if you use copies of different written books or maps. (Books give you space for documentation, but take up more disk space and memory -- on both server and client -- because the title, author and text have to be stored separately for each stack.)
