Catamaran Trip to Cayo Saetia Nature Park | Holguin Cuba | Jan 2020

Cayo Saetia is a Nature Preserve in South Cuba. African animals have been transported here and roam freely on the island. The animals are viewed via 1950s army trucks. There is also great snorkeling around the island to view tropical marine fish. A full day trip with lunch included was a bargain at $79 US.

you cant eat lobster with beer, desert and tip for 25$ canadians...i have been to cuba many times and even 10 years ago its was 20-25 canadian just for the langosta so i dont know how you count but its not right buddy but i like your video

Do you have to be a guest to use the pool?
It is best to call the hotel reception and ask them. Since I was staying at the hotel I cannot answer your question with 100% accuracy. No wristbands are given out to identify guests. You cannot pay cash for anything in the hotel. They require credit card payment only. The security guards at the front of the hotel ask you if you are staying at the hotel until they start to recognize you. When you pay for drinks/food at the pool bar they ask for your room number.

Thank you for your kind comments. I used a DJI Mini One. I have now upgraded to the DJI Mini 3 PRO. The biggest problem with the DJI Mini One is that it cannot fly in high wind. I had to wait a few days for the wind to calm down.

In general you will be disappointed in the food quality in Cuba and Royalton unless you go to a private restaurant off the resort. A private restaurant in Cuba will charge $30 Canadian for lobster dinner with desert, alcoholic drinks and tip. In town there are US dollar supermarkets where you can get whatever you want including Redbull. For some unknown reason Cuban resorts do not get the same supplies no matter how many stars they are. On this resort you can pay extra for a romantic dinner on the beach which I show at the end of the video.

Awesome review. How's the wifi at hotel?
The wifi is always on and unlimited. It is adequate for email and watching TH-cam videos. The wireless router is located in the lobby and lobby bar area so you will have to take your laptop there. It is difficult to connect to the wifi from your room.

How slow was the WiFi? Planning to work on this trip
In my hotel room I tested the download speed and it was 7.8 Mbps and upload speed was 5.6 Mbps. Considering that download speeds in Canada and the US with high speed intenet are usually 150Mbps this was very slow. It was hard to even watch TH-cam videos on the hotel's wifi. Yes I actually did these tests. Sometimes the power of my super brain even scares me.
What day was the neon party and white party on?
The Neon Party occurs on Saturdays from 8pm onwards. The White party occurs on Wednesdays from 8 to 11pm. There are 2 afternoon parties as well. Every Monday from 2pm to 6pm is the Jungle Party. Every Friday from 2pm is the Pink Party. I did not attend any of the afternoon parties because I do not wake up until 3pm.
What is the snorkeling in the video right off the resort?

Hello, what kind/brand of drone you using? Also, me and my wife just visited this resort in May and we had an awesome time all except the food...needs improvements. Nice video by the way!
I am using a DJI Mini One. I have bought the DJI Mini 3 which I will receive in July as my new drone. DJI Mini 3 can fly in stronger winds and has a better camera that can shoot in 4K and at night. The DJI Mini 3 is also under 250 grams in weight so it exempts you from having to take the drone pilot course and getting licensed/registered.

More to come Mr. Sohil ! My new DJI Mini 3 drone will be in use this July. I will be able to fly in much stronger wind and shoot drone video in 4K and at night.

Thank you for the encouragement Random Guy. In my first attempt at that drone landing maneuver 2 years ago on concrete one of the drone's arms broke off. It was all good since I had the drone repaired in DJI's repair facility in Texas thus helping to create American jobs.

Is this hotel mainly full of couples or I'd there a mixture of couples/friends and ages. My dad and I are looking to go away and recently went to Riu Reggae which was and adults only, amazing, mixture of all people and was very relaxed but also had entertainment all day/night which varied from games to dancing etc and was plenty of groups of friends, couples, and parents with their son/daughter so we didn't feel awkward or out of place.
The majority of the guests at this hotel are over 40 years old. There are few singles. The atmosphere of the hotel reflects this. This is not a party hotel like Hard Rock. There are no foam parties. The resort goes quiet after 11pm. The main activities are during the day centered around the pool. The entertainment staff are great. They are friendly and get everyone involved. They give spanish lessons, pool games, archery and shooting. You and you dad should have a good time.
