He’ll be the first one claiming compensation sayin “I didn’t know” effing idiot
I don’t know a carpenter that doesn’t have that permanently pulled back
Thats a crazy statement
An older carpenter taught to never put your hands there, never know what’s in the wood or what could happen, nails sometimes go where they shouldn’t. 🤷♂️
What are you on about? That’s referring to holding the piece of wood you’re nailing. There’s zero chance the mail does a 180😭
@@EGRakuRamen ricochets are the most common injury from nail guns….
@@EGRakuRamenyou haven't shot enough nails...
Just change the depth with the little wheel on the top. If that doesn't work, bust out the ol hammer. It's not worth it, bro.
The plates need to be flush and this is fast, just gotta be smart about it
Yeah comes in handy every now and then
i just cut my left finger. can't type fast. no upper case stupid me my guitar fretboard hand my piano bass hand my left nostril.... 6 years since stupid happened to me. right hand hurt left hand time to type: 13 minutes with tongue
Or use the depth gauge, as designed by the manufacturer, to leave the nail proud.
You won’t get the claw of the hammer in there if the nail is set proud using the depth gauge on a nailer
@@nikoscarpentry don't let the flywheel ramp up completely. Or use paslode nails, haha. I hate the DCN692/DCN690. I'm not saying you can't do what you're doing. I do it. But I think 80% of people will get a nail through their fingernail.
@@mitchchartrandI’ll have to give that a shot
@@mitchchartrand 80% of people will get a nail in their finger from doing this? Bro, most carpenters do this all day. It’s necessary for the job sometimes.
If there any carpenters who DON’T know this trick, we’re gonna have some crooked ass houses.
Obviously everyone knows to flush up their plates. I’m just demonstrating how to do it without pulling out a nail and hammer. Little things like this compound and make a big difference
What he's saying not teaching chippys anything they don't know but to suck eggs lol I guess your the apprentice 😂😂😂
Eine gute Arbeit von einem guten Mann! Viele Grüße aus Deutschland 👍🍀
Interesting how you put some sonopan below the back window. Great video! Love to see the atlas sticker.
What is length of small piece and big piece
Top Edge measure of the door inside Jam add half an inch. Measure sides inside Jam, add quarter inch make 45 glue the miters together using CA glue. Slap it up there and nail it down
Is your Akai MPK mini just for show because the software is so trash like mine? Haha
Your head almost touched the ceiling while you were doing pull ups. Hope it isn't a problem for you. Btw.. that's a very handy diy home gym set up.. Well done.. 👍
Looks like a spider apartment building inside there
what would you recommend to do instead
@@builtbycale7973 It's a nice idea for extra storage, but spiders are going to take it over. There's no choice on what you have do. If it were me, every couple of weeks I'd open the gate and quickly spray some bug spray in there, and shut that gate really fast. Dark places exactly like that are exactly what some dangerous spiders like to hang out and breed. I'm a Great Grandmother of five now, so what I'm telling you is not my opinion. It is my experience.
Great job! Are the galvanized pipe bars used 1" or 3/4" ?

@@nikoscarpentryI have a question, if I can fit a parallel bar into one of these wooden columns, would it be safe to do the dips exercise?
Who’s that guy in the red? He looks so cool
What's a rabbit in woodwork
It’s pretty much a half lap if you’re familiar with that
Awesome build.
Gluing to the jamb is completely unnecessary and just causes issues down the road
could you plz tell me what kind of wood to buy
The kind you want…. Hard woods are more durable for stain grade but if you are painting and are on a budget poplar or MDF are good options.
PVC is better or composite. Does not rot but is a little expensive. MDF is the worst you can buy because it takes a little moisture to swell it.
This lad will never struggle finding work. Very handy. And I bet his parents are really proud of him. Good lad.
Sorry to say it… those clamps look phallic
You guys are pros🔥
The build is great, but thank you for introducing me to this amazing song
He's amazing bro. And he's just getting started
Nice, clean and simple for us newbies- thank you
How did you get the divider template?
I just made it by scribing it on a smaller piece and then tracing that piece on both sides of divider
Man, how tall are you!
How did you do the lights to auto come on?
They're on a motion sensor
did great!
Thank you!
FYI, my bought new decked system didn't come with a full set of dividers. Think I got about 3. Sure did get a catalog to order more though 👍
Nice!
I think you've done a great job there. Love the lights.
Thanks a lot!
Get away miter glue the joints noob
A+

Great Video 🎥🎞🔥💪
where do the clothes go
Landed on you from your rack build. this is dope bro, I like doing small wood and carpentry projects myself, planning to build a backyard shed shop in the fall when I move to a new house under construction. Keep the videos and ideas coming
Thanks bro, nice man a shed shop is so worth it
Probably cost the same as a steel rack 🤷♀
I did it with the woodglut plans.
Nice build, nicer than many I've seen. A question, are you able to do crossovers without the cable rubbing on the wood?
I built mine based off the buff dudes power rack and added cables on top for cross overs. From what I seen they do rub on the frame and it's not smooth.
@@reygarza4030 Take a look at this pulley system: m.th-cam.com/video/ClfftecMCkg/w-d-xo.html Personally I think rope from REI and pulleys from REI might be better and easier to work with.
What light kit

@@nikoscarpentry thanks I’m assuming you hard wired so you don’t have to continually recharge
@@elevatedmediacompany nope, I made no modifications, haven’t had to charge it once yet.
How did you wire the led lighting?
www.amazon.ca/gp/aw/d/B08LC97QLT? They just have a rechargeable battery, you charge with micro usb
Hey do you have by any means the name of the ending song ? Great build btw
Kermode by Tigerblood Jewel, thanks a lot man

Great job dude! Hope it's still going strong :)
yeah man, still perfect, pulleys and lines are worn in and working even better now.
That’s pretty awesome good job… wow I like it a lot …
