    The Scriptures warn us about our Church leaders of things we can’t see but the Lord knows - Jesus Christ is the Scriptures - all things should be verified by the Scriptures. (D&C 35:23) (2 Peter 3:16) (Alma 13:20) (Acts 17:11) And this is how you can try the spirits by going to the Holy Ghost/Scriptures - Preface… concerning the Twelve Apostles of the Lamb...(D&C 112) Behold, vengeance cometh speedily upon the inhabitants of the earth... And upon my house shall it begin... First among those among you...who have professed to know my name and have not known me, and have blasphemed against me in the midst of my house...(D&C 112:24-26) The ancient and honourable, he is the head; and the prophet that teacheth lies, he is the tail. For the leaders of this people cause them to err; and they that are led of them are destroyed. (Isaiah 9:15-16) Let no man deceive you by any means...that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition... Who opposeth God...sitteth in the temple of God...(2 Thessalonians 2:3-4) ...until he be taken out of the way. (2 Thessalonians 2:7) While that man, who was called of God and appointed...shall fall by the shaft of death, like as a tree that is smitten by the vivid shaft of lightning. (D&C 85:8) Never in the Bible or any Mormon Scripture does a prophet, apostle or prophetess say, “I promise.” For to do so would make themselves instead of God. Promises are only made by God Himself never by man throughout all Scripture except, Nehemiah 5:23 and Joshua 9:21, where man made a promise for a negative outcome. Beware of promises made by man saying, “I promise” in behalf of the God of Jacob, the Scriptures warn us. And marrying the dead in temples? Where does God say to marry the dead? God never told us to marry the dead only to baptize for the dead. And God warns us to do according to that which is written marrying the dead is not written. (D&C 84:57) (D&C 24:14) (D&C 84:57) And what is the turning of the hearts of the fathers to the children and vise versa? Is it marriage? No. Because there will be marriage in the resurrection. Elijah’s turning of hearts is baptism for the dead, or the D&C is a lie? Will you believe the God of the Scriptures or man/Satan? It is sufficient to know, in this case, that the earth will be smitten with a curse unless there is a welding link of some kind or other between the fathers and the children, upon some subject or other-and behold what is that subject? It is the baptism for the dead. For we without them cannot be made perfect; neither can they without us be made perfect. (D&C 128:18) And when we follow man and not God using God’s Priesthood wrongly like marrying the dead -look around at the results: We're fighting over public bathrooms and which gender can play sports marriage is different, etc., etc. There will be marriage in the resurrection the Scriptures testify. (Matthew 18 and Matthew 25) (Rev. 19:7-8) Why are we administered the Sacrament in a manner that’s against God’s command? (D&C 20:40,46,58,76) (Moroni 4:1) And we wonder why there’s depression, suicide and other heinous events among us? ...the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation...(2 Timothy 3:15) If ye love me, keep my commandments. (John 14:15)

    Years ago when I lived in Idaho Falls, Idaho... We rarely get tornadoes let alone tornado warnings, but I remember one day as I was headed to Deseret Book to get more garments, and keep in mind the temple was just across the street from Deseret Book. It was a stormy day and I remember it was an eerie feeling as I got out of my vehicle in the storm, I looked across the street towards the temple and immediately looked up to above the temple. There were very dark clouds and they were different looking than typical storm clouds. Right above the temple was what I can only describe as appearing to be the start of a giant funnel cloud. I immediately started to pray but on the move and kept my plans to go buy my garments. I wasn't the only one that witnessed this as there were other people around me coming in and out of the store and some were on the temple grounds. Normally, I would've been scared and gone back home, but I got out of my vehicle and went in to the store to purchase garments. I did because I felt everyone who was outside and saw the funnel cloud looming over the temple all prayed for protection of the temple and the area. I felt the power of community prayer that day overpower a storm. I came out of the store with my garments in hand and the funnel cloud was gone. I will never forget seeing or feeling that!

    Some time you should check out the story of the Columbus Ohio Temple. President Hinkley's choice of it's location was confusing to us. There was a beautiful spot by our new Stake Center. But he chose a low laying location in a mostly industrial area with just a small road that crossed in front of a chapel. During researching the genealogy of the land it turned out that a young girl grew up on that piece of land who later moved to Mentor, Ohio. Her name was Julia Clapp. She passed away giving birth to twins. It turned out her twins were given to Joseph and Emma Smith.

    When my mother as an adult convert was baptized in Japan in 1950, there were no LDS meetinghouses built by the Church with a baptismal font. The missionaries organized a train trip from Nagoya city to an inn next to a river in the Japan Alps of Nagano prefecture, with the plan to perform the several baptisms in a shallow place in the river. However, when they got to the inn, it started raining heavily. The missionaries, members, and converts knelt together and prayed for the rain to stop so they could safely walk down to the river bank and conduct the baptisms. The rain soon parted, with sun shining on the inn and the river, but continuing all around the area. They went ahead and walked to the river and performed each baptism, with the sun shining as the ordinances were conducted and everyone could hear. When the last baptism was completed, the rain closed in drenching everyone, but by then half the people were already soaked from the river, and they happily made their way back to the inn and changed into dry clothes for the train ride back. These kinds of weather miracles do happen. At the same time, it seems to me that the contractor building the Saratoga Springs Temple should have concentrated on building the roof before installing interior elements that would be adversely affected by rain. I am guessing that the story was actually more complicated as to why a rainstorm would adversely affect the construction, and not simply the builders just risking the loss of materials and labor because of failing to complete the roof in proper order. The Church has very capable architects and builders who work on temples with high quality materials, and I have a hard time believing that there was some recklessness by the builders that created the crisis solved by this miracle. My guess is that an outside materials supplier failed to make timely delivery of some roof components.

    • @fheontheroad
      @fheontheroad 7 วันที่ผ่านมา

      It’s true, we don’t know all the details of why it was the way it was. It was being build during Covid, so that could explain suppliers not sending materials. I’m sure there are more layers to the story. I love that Heavenly Father helps, sometimes in these big, very clear ways! It’s pretty amazing!

    That is a remarkable story. I think it is on the same level as the miracle of the sea gulls eating all those crickets to save the crops of the Mormon Pioneers. That is such a cool story.Thanks for sharing it.

    What a story! A true miracle of the storm... Great job! I will add that you'll have to change your intro from "5-minute stories", to 'short stories'. 😁😁 On a lot of your videos, you've got too much good information to squeeze into 5 minutes. I look forward to your future videos, as well.

      Yes! There is a picture, if you look at the staircase in the video, there is a blue strip of tile. That is the blue tile talked about.

    there is no Mesa Temple. the Arizona Temple is located in Mesa, Arizona. if you read the dedicatory prayers (after original completion as well as the remodeling a half century ago) you will see that it is the Arizona Temple. this temple is currently under renovation and will be rededicated. i suspect it will remain the Arizona be Temmple.

    I'm wondering about a couple of things. If this stone is so hard to source, surley the temple committee and architect would know a supplier and that it was available so they could spec it in thr contract. They would need to know this in order to cost it In the the building budget wouldn't they. How did the contractor bid this job without the specs on this stone? He would have to know the exact specs on this stone, suppliers, costs and installation costs for his bid. Just wondering.

    • @fheontheroad
      @fheontheroad 11 วันที่ผ่านมา

      I don't know. I do not know all the details of what the contractor knew and didn't know. What I do know is that things change all the time, especially in construction. I'm sure he had an idea of how to get the stone, and things change.

      Thise who have been in the business would know that there are times when parts of the project are allowed to continue forward on Construction Cost Estimates. The frequent publication of the periodical by The RS Means Company is one example the architects are constantly referring to.

    Four years ago, I had visions of building a temple with beautiful stained glass and sculptures all around. On the land, I would have a beautiful home to care for foster children and build small houses for people experiencing homelessness. There is also a farm there. We would all heal and grow together, helping one another out. I would dream about it day and night until one day, about a year later, those dreams ended. Since then, I've gone through an extreme healing process with the Lord. I was stripped down to my lowest and didn't think I'd survive, but the Lord came to my rescue and built me back up again. This vision came to me again this morning out of nowhere. I laid in bed for over an hour allowing this vision to come to life in my heart. When I got up, I went into prayer and asked the Lord about this. The Lord gave me a beautiful message to share with all of his children who have been waiting for the dreams and visions they once held. The Lord said now is the time he is pouring out his blessings on all who turned to him, seemed his mercy and trusted in him. After that, I sat down with Scripture, opened Google to research a verse, and this article was the first article on Google. Since I had not searched anything regarding churches, so there would be no reason for this to show up on my phone, I can't help but think this is a sign from the Lord 🥰 Thank you for sharing such a beautiful story 🥹 God Bless 🙏🏼❤️

    Thank you for the video. It is truly remarkable to work on the temple. The stone matches the water theme of the windows with the cycle of water in the firmament from the sky to the earth and symbolically flowing out of the doors of the temple. Come go up to the Mountian of the Lord (depicted in the windows amongst the clouds) and drink from water and thirst no more.

    Are we not astonished in trying to comprehend these odds?!? I am Brother Ray Conger. During my career, I was very regularly connected with the specifications of materials for commercial and public buildings. Those lists of detailed items are copious and extensive. For large projects, building specifications go into hundreds of pages and they accompany the architectural drawings. For most people they are long and un-interesting. Nevertheless, all requirements are in the contract and _must be met._ My sweet wife and I were called on a mission to The Nauvoo Temple during six months of 2023. We observed, almost daily, while seeing the operations unfold, the details of the running of The Temple. We saw the specific needs and the resources to meet those needs being miraculously brought together. A daily revelatory parade was before us, showing The Lord's Almighty Hand in those details of administration and operations. They are in fact, gifts of The Spirit. (Moroni 10: 8 & 18; D&C 46: 7-12,15,16,26&27; 1st Corinthians 12: 1,4-7&11) In my experience, I came to a Testimony that *_The Holy Temple is True!_* And now we see _again_ with this blue stone account, another seemingly small detail, prayed over, by Our humble Brethren, then underscored and re-emphasized by the spokesman. Blue is the symbolic color of The House of Israel. It was on the Ensign Peak banner that Prophet Brigham and that Quorum waved. Blue is on the uniforms of the athletes and musical groups of our University. Blue is found across the world in both modern and ancient expressions of the remnants of Israel who also raise their ensigns. Interestingly, there are 15 of Our Brethren in the *FP&Q12* and there are 15 blue Wildflowers Found in Utah. I wonder how many of those varieties of blue wildflowers are also found in the locale of The Saratoga Springs Temple? And so, for this blue-stone story, I find the numbers _staggeringly beyond probability_ that this impossible requirement was met by a dying man, who, without knowing why, had kept this heavy awkward cache of blue stone _his whole life._ He was a merchant with a pearl of great price! Oh, what rapture for that man, to go down to his grave, *_knowing now The very Father in Heaven was aware of him!_* Do we not see that _all things are possible_ for The Lord?!? (Luke 1: 37, Matthew 19: 26, Mark 9: 23, Luke 18: 27.) Brothers and Sisters, *I know The Holy Temple is TRUE!* There is the place Jesus has laid out for His Father's children, _the covenants_ to bless in life and eternity. In this Saratoga Springs Temple our path of ascension up the stair is bordered in the blue color of the nobility of Israel, where we progress from being princes and princesses to become Kings and Queens. In this palace of our Father The King, we His children learn how to inherit all He has for us, to see him as He is and become like Him.
