New Trail unlocked! South Mountan hidden gem, Boulder City
If you've ever bouldered at South Mountain, then ya know the trail! After scouting the features and tying it all together, this is the first descent from T to B.
It's definitely not a trail for everyone, and if you're a snooty mountain biker that scoffs at sand and wash riding, click away. This isn't for you. But for me, I love this stuff! Most of this trail is great on my rigid Kona Unit, but with the features at the top of this line, The starling murmur was required.
The line spills onto Pima wash, down the washing machine!

The kid was kind enough to be my shuttle buddy. I went thinking Holbert would leave me wanting more, Nope. Beat. The heat was killer! And the trail just never lets up haha.

Cruising and exploring with Coach Jason at Dreamy Draw, Phoenix Mountain Preserve. Ended up going down Freedom, I reccon, and a fun ridgeline called chunky monkey. At least thats what his trailforks said. Super fun unforgiving terrain. And a happy ending with chutes where I pussed out on the pre jump over the little ending drop sending me to flat bottom lol.

A taco tuesay sunset cruise on Morman. I've been converted! Smiles for miles and sharing cuz the bro pro magically keeps working. I split my finger open on the first little bonus feature at the top of Mormon saddle. Must have clipped a wee tree. Went from extra firm spring back to firm for a little more compliance and less fatigue. feels nice!
National Trail Lookout DH through Telegraph Pass

A Sunday morning solo session in the church of our Mother Nature's Somo from the National Lookout to the bottom of Telegraph Pass trailhead. Superduperfun, but a wee bit too quick. Should have ventured up Natty further on the west side! Next time. As for a hike a bikey tho, not bad at all! Oversprung suspension = not so bueno on the endless rock garden

Hawes flow RMR and High Ridge

Riding with the Coach Jason Hardee @ Hawes. Red mountain rush and back up for High ridge. Although they aren't tecky like sunset, boulder dash, pro, they are equally as fun if not more! The starling murmur's recent setup change being much stiffer than it has been works great on these trails. South Mountain Hau' Pal Loop (T-Bone) and bonus Holbert

A little exploration session. Alta east side up to Hau' Pal ridge and decent. It's a good'n. The weather was so good, a second wind came my way on the way out, andddd I ended up pushing up Holbert (not recommended). What a great trail, even though fatigue had gripped me fully by that point.

A ride at Dreamy Draw Recreation PMP with some trail scouting, and woah, Two Bit Peak Trail is something. Flat tire half the way down didn't help, but we made it down. I don't know how the wheel is fine after this abuse lol.

While waiting for the rest of the group, we spotted what looke to be a trail from the tallest peak in Usary. Nathan, YompMtb, and I ended up at the top with way too much ambition for the grip levels and got out asses handed to us. My hand is now a pin cushion!
