My ideal battle with Ryme is having it be a double battle like the game, have Kilowattrel be Roy's tera and have Fuecoco's evolution there I'm definitely excited to see how Annihilape is portrayed too, like I wouldn't have thought it'd be the type of pokemon to do "otherworldly" things so it's cool that aspect of it will be portrayed

Yeah it really deserved the screen time, even if I've been generally ok with the focus on Fuecoco powering up, just hope it actually gets to shine against one of the gym leaders

@TomsSauce yeah! I just hope that the other pokemon the three have dont get too shafted by the starters. Though thankfully, going from the title, it seems hattena is getting some limelight next episode too (On a related note, yeah, Annihilape is one of my favorite pokemon... ever, eelektross is also high up there as my favorite electric type but even still)

Honestly Hattenas needed it even more, I know battling isn't everything but the lack of it has hurt Hattena a lot for me

Which is really neat, it's training after all, they shouldn't be burdened with pressure to have to win a fight on top of meeting the leaders criteria. On top of that it's her first time using it, so it's only fair.

Even if it doesn’t take place in ash world, which I hope it doesn’t because it would give them the opportunity to bring adult ash and lei to HZ from there world where time is faster but there is still a lot of game characters that doesn’t show up in ash series. Like you could have daisy oak run the lab and have leaf with her female eevee living where ash does with her dad and have silver run team rocket with the admins from the games or team go rocket admins since willow was shown in HZ. We could have zinnia give the kids lore on black rayquaza or a bunch of other spinoff characters like Leah and eevee from cafe remix.

It really is neat that Hattena's got that going for it, would explain why Liko's never really fought using it before And yeah I didn't really mention it, but it's always nice to see more of the rest of the crew doing things, involving Mollie is always a plus in my books

@@TomsSauceI feel like once Hatenna gains more self-confidence, she'd definitely be ready to battle with Liko; and she'd be great to help in battle with her Confusion & Heal Pulse

Honestly when I saw the Krookodile family using round I was thinking it'd be Round that Fuecoco would learn because I put that on my ingame one for a while, but giving that fairy coverage is great. You'd also think the RVTs would get something considering Roy sorted the situation with the Krookodile family attacking but alas

@@TomsSauceHonestly I had Disarming Voice on my Skeledirge during my playthrough {Torch Song, Shadow Ball, Disarming Voice, Seed Bomb}. Not only will Disarming Voice helping against Dark types in the future (and Rayquaza), the move never misses. - And I mean the RVTs were more hired to use their Airship to deal with the stones as the archelogists's own vehicles for excavation were destroyed by the Desert Croc Family, but since Roy got the family to do it instead of them, they really didn't do anything whatsoever to be paid for it

For my Skeledirge I think mine was torch song/blast burn/hyper voice/shadow ball, don't really ever use blast burn but it was fun as a finisher after building up special attack with torch song And yeah it's being kinda technical, but I feel like they probably should have earned something for bringing it to a peaceful conclusion lol

@@TomsSauceI got even more fun out of it when I had my Skeledirge equipped with Throat Spray, making Torch Song & Disarming Voice boost my Skeledirge's SP. ATK so much!!!! - The archeologists were just going to just battle the crocs if they had caused more damage to their dig site (albeit their counter measures did only work on the mid grunts with Hammer Arm & Dazzling Gleam, but I guess these diggers aren't the best trainers as they got defeated so easily & had prepared nothing else afterwards) > On that note, with dealing with the repair payments for the damage of the excavation vehicles the crocs did, it kinda makes sense here in a way as to why the RVTs weren't going to be paid after this; they just didn't have the money left to pay them even if they had completed the job

It'd have been cool, but I don't think they'll give him evolved pokemon before any of his current mons evolve

Roy Pokemon will save my life

Yeah I could do with seeing more of Roy's friends, like they hit all the nails for me with having one catch a Taillow and one want to take on Totems. I think we've only had like one moment since he left the island that references the fact he has to take classes. It's just in the context of this ep, using it to get Liko involved was a cute idea and seeing her verbalise her respect for Friede is great.

@@TomsSauce It is great just would like something for Roy school as well and very curious where its at like is it just a teacher in there house teaching kids online or is the school a actual place and the teacher is in a classroom teaching ether all online classes or just this 1 online class and the rest are in the school.

That could be a really interesting parallel between Lucius and Gibeon, like it's curious they still haven't shown Gibeon in any capacity, and we know that human spirits can definitely live on if it follows the previous animes rules (like having Kiawes grandfather, Mallows mother persist in the afterlife). idk if they'd do flat out possession that way but it'd be cool

@@TomsSauce They have done so many interesting things in the anime and the games I wouldn’t put it passed them but it will be interesting to see what happens. Like I think Lucius could of had 3 kids instead of just 1 that leads to liko the other 2 leads to roy and amethio its why the pendent and Pokéballs reacted it needs at least 2 of them to become active. Its very obvious that liko represents/connected to the moon, roy represents/connected to the sun and amethio could represents/connected to the stars.

Definitely interested to see how they explore of all this, especially as Horizons has kind of had a different approach to the anime before, so I think I could definitely agree that they could really surprise us.

@@TomsSauce yeah and I think Lucius is Diana grandpa and liko great great grandpa so just taking into account Lucius to liko we still need to see Lucius lover, there kid who would be Diana mom or dad and want to see the other parent not from Lucius line we know Diana and we need to see her lover/lucca dad and we have seen lucca and Alex who are liko parents. So that is 4 people we need to met to get from Lucius to liko.

Honestly with how desensitised you get from Ash thunderbolting Team Rocket its kinda easy to just accept it lmao

I think my problem, more so in regards to Roy we've never actually been shown him being able to get a win on screen, like he could probably beat Zir but all we really saw in Episode 6 when they fought was Rhydon getting hit by an Ember but we didn't see it faint, in Episode 25 it's likewise where Rhydon gets hit but we don't see it faint. I'm absolutely fine with there being a slower pace in regards to Liko and Roy's growth as trainers, but considering the episode was focused around Roy's ancient pokeball, that's where my issue with Roy not beating Tepen kinda lies, even if it was beating Honedge and Bronzor while they weren't with Tepen would have been fine. Also yeah Diana's friend choices are crazy lol

@@TomsSauce true but he is the more battle driven protag I do hope he is the one that gets the most hits on lapras even tho we know they won’t knock it out it will just be calmed down so they can talk to it like the other hero Pokémon. I do hope everyone in the main cast RVT/explorers improves by getting new moves and new Pokémon like I’m fine with everyone only being at a limit of 3 Pokémon atm but do stuff with them like zir/conia only has 1 move on their skarmory which is whirlwind like give them both round then the last 2 moves be completely different. I have a Pokémon for each of the RVT adults friede any ash Pokémon definitely if it has a gimmick like gengar and snorlax have 2 and he can give any of them a z crystal or tera blast it would be interesting to see him with a squirtle and bulbasur he fully evos and gets there megas/gmax, orla klink because she loves gears, mollie any Pokémon center Pokémon, Murdock any food Pokémon, ludlow drampa. I do want all the explorers admins and grunts and Anne to have a eevee evo like spinel has umbreon, conia would get leafeon since its a grass cat like sprigatito, zir would get flareon because roy fuecoco keeps beating him so he thinks a fire type would be a good choice, onyx would get vaporeon, agate sylveon, sango jolteon, Anne glaceon and amethio espeon.

Yeah it definitely is nice getting to explore the ship, it's been something we've been with fully for like 24 episodes now, so getting a better idea of where everything lays is nice. Great to be able to visualise that.

@@TomsSauce yeah now if we only knew the room arrangements like I could friede, mollie, orla and ludlow or Murdock on 1 side of the ship while dot, liko, roy and ludlow or Murdock on the other it would depend on if Murdock would want to be close to his niece in someway and ludlow is like the grandpa on the ship and he wouldn’t care where his room is at they should have name on the doors

@@TomsSauce He is a outlier in the explorers he doesn’t follow orders or worship the leader like the others seem to and he has his own people that follow him not the leader. Also with Diana saying Lucius and his friends I think liko is Lucius descendant while roy and amethio are his friends descendant and we saw a picture come out of the journal so I bet they look like his friends and there was a blue book as well.

I know this comment was written before the recent episode, but I'd say not all of them follow orders as they just do whatever works to their own benefit. Like, I think Spinel was being pretty deceptive by not mentioning everything he knew about the situation, kind of lying by omission, and of course Sango and Onyx not holding back in the recent ep (again though I know you wouldn't have seen it at the time of commenting). I do gotta wonder if Amethio is actually a descendant though, there could be some good evidence for that now that it's confirmed that the Explorers were Lucius's friends. There's a lot to look forward too!

@@TomsSauce I still think liko, roy and amethio are the descendants of Lucius and his friends and represent the moon, sun and stars. With the way the teens react to hamber every time he tells them to listen and be quiet they seem scared of him and he kinda looked like he was going to hurt them with dusknoir and instead of doing the usual teen thing of turning your head away and crossing your arms they went quiet and stood up straight. So I think he is abusing the teens in someway and the reason they are so cutthroat is because whoever does a good job doesn’t get punished. Also every time there is a child and adult that are villains the kids are abused, manipulated or abandoned in some way so it won’t be a surprise if that is happening here as well. If that is true I hope the teens get out as soon as possible amethio is definitely going to be the first with zir conia help and support then if I had to guess sango would be next because she is the youngest so she wasn’t there as long and seeing amethio do it gives her the courage to then I think onyx will then agate then spinel last.

To be honest, I'm not super sure, I don't really have the time to do that in addition to work, but I can look into doing some stuff for the movies and specials Lumiose Trainer Zac does have a great "which pokemon movies are canon" video which kind of places where each movie would be in relation to the episodes I believe
