Guys if the number passes only one test you can not just say that its wrong everyone is atign very weird. You HAVE to check the sum of digits, it is compulsory. Its like saying if you pass 1 test then its right. Take chemistry(basic) for example. You wont know what the gas is if a burning flame just extinguishes you will just know its not oxygen. Request everyone to use theor brains before rushing into the comments.

Guys he forgot to mention this- If the last digit is 0 then the digit before that should also be zero. :D

I can solve the square root of any 12 digit numbers by splitting them into 3 parts, namely 2081 = (F) 366 = (M) and 884 = (L) (F) = 45 (M) = 62 and (L) = 2 Answer 45 62 2 45622 x 45622 = 2081366884

Never throw in an algerbraic equation when teaching arithmetic. This only confuses the student in maths. Bad enough having to deal with remembering the squares or cubes of numbers you wish them to also remember the algerbraic equation. Not a good idea at all.

Hello, I have repeatedly tried your method for 12 digits and could not get it to work. The 12 digits I used were 456 123 789 546 split as you mentioned into 4 pairs. I got a 6 for the last part L, a 7 for the first part F, and a 9 for the third part T, and had a feeling that it was not going to work. What do you think that I am missing out on ? Cheers
