@1:02 ay yo
Fire videos. Keep it going!! OG DESERVES AN ALL STAR NOD!!!
Man OG always was using his strength on drives but in these clips this szn it feels like he's much more on balance, attacking much quicker especially on postups. This the type of development everyone wanted to see him make in 19-20-onwards, great to see him do it.
Yea absolutely hes still definitely a power player but hes getting more and more finesse
LAKERS ARE STUPID FOR NOT MAKING A PLAY FOR KNECHT. HE HARDLY GETS THE PASS.
Thibs won't play him..
Is it just me or have the knicks did some zone a couple times!
@@andrewabraham5109 we dont run zone alot but when we trap off screens the rest of the defense is in rotation which can definitely look like zone!
My guy has balling on both ends for my Knicks
@@gilfordmccormack8140 not so quietly after last night 😂
Really good stuff man, great content.
Glad you enjoy it!
Knecht is perfect for the NBA where defenders are not allowed to touch the shooter.
wow man, well said. and I HATE the Lakers. I hope my boys the 76rs don't play them (when Embiid comes back at least) that was a great break down and a really good analysis. keep em coming
Thanks for watching!
not if thibs don't play him! eehehehehe
Thanks I told I was the only one in love of the way he show up his are center....what they waiting for to make him star
Huckporti is a beast, this guy knows ball
I see 2 level scoring not 3
Verticality. Make up words wtf
Damn Thibs have to play Hukporti more he's going be a monster ... The beast...
He’s better than KAT but he won’t play much because they have KAT 😂
excellent breakdown hukporti might be a player
He has "it". Something you can't teach. He can dominate, and nobody can stop him....except himself. Should be interesting if he becomes clearly the best on the team. Will the big 3 defer? Maxey is clutch, but can't draw contact or get fouls called, so in 4th, that can be a liability. A great tandem for years to come?????
What bothers me the most is that the stupid coach still playing sims over him
Sixers should trade Maxey and Embiid for a 2 way guard and some picks
Great vid
Thanks for watching!
I BEEN TRYING TO TELL EM THE OFFENSE RUNS BETTER WITH SIMS NOBODY WAS TRYING TO HEAR IT BUT THIS VIDEO SHOWS YOU EXACTLY THAT
He complements KAT. Maybe it's time for Hart to come off bench again? Then they could bench Brunson when they need a key one last defensive play.
@@squallstrife-v5g im not sure im totally there yet, i think Hart brings a lot to the team in terms of hustle and transition and were in the middle of implementing a new defensive trap heavy scheme that seems to be working. BUT, i think its nice to know that if this doesnt work, we have other avenues to explore like sliding KAT to the 4.
Jared mccain is everything the sixers thought markelle fultz would be. Ironically they both wear #20 playin for the sixers
Seeing ancient Embiid handing off to a speedy guard, wow, what a sight
Cavaliers 1A….Two great athletic smallish guards, how come the records aren’t the same ?
Excellent analysis.
I've been talking about this ever since I saw him play in summer league. I said that the knicks need to make him part of the starting 5. He's a lot better on offense than Mitch and he's a solid defender at the 5 that is always active. If you looki at him on the court he's always aware of the other players on the floor on defense and is always in a great position to make a play on the ball. I love that he's getting more minutes.
His awareness is off the charts, he is still playing a bit frantically but that’s a natural result of being high energy which I definitely do not want him to lose. Eventually when the game slows down a bit for him its going to look incredible
Facts man and once he gets that middy working for him, it’s over. I’d want him working with The dream or Pat Ewing to get his post game mechanics solid and that middy jumper. His defense is only going to get better. I just love how smooth his footwork looks on defense. Such great positioning and anticipation. Reminds me a little of Mitch on D.
Totally agree
His off ball is curry esq
This is still Sim city
Thibs loves sim, and as someone who criticizes sims alot, he did play very well last night. The changing of the guard should still happen though for ceiling ability and development
Meanwhile the MSG broadcast has to take the time to explain why Thibs is still rocking with Jumpman
Yea im low on Sims (even though hes been playing better as of late) just think letting Hukporti develop more makes infinitely more sense
@@PlayByPlayFilmBreakdown Sims is playing better only since/because Ariel Hukporti started getting real minutes 😂
💯 he’s already more productive on both sides of the ball. Thibs is my guy but I can’t understand the logic behind that one.
@@dorkasaurus_rex😂😂 might have nailed it with this one
sims has clips of thibbs at the diddy party lol
take your time Mitch, so we can let Ariel develop more.
😂 rest up king
As a Sixers fan I need to settle myself because I am almost ready to trade Maxey & keep McCain (because two small guards won't work) just based on shot. Way to early to make that move but if McCain ends up having big year...all bets are off.
I also kinda can't stand even see you ppl comment the words trade Maxey... Playoff beast mode Maxey... Maxeys speed n shooting are generational n who tf says it can't work. Offense and effort can make up for lack of size and a lot of things
I also would hesitate on that, maxey is legitamately scary to watch and you always try to make 2 talents work vs moving on
Such an overreaction
The question is how much of a defensive liability will he be. Short of having competent defense, he will be JJ Redick 2.0 which is a 3 point specialist+.
I don't see the comparison. McCain is better rebounder, a point guard and better in transition. His Brunson comparison is potentially more accurate.
No I strongly disagree. He’s a combo guard he facilitate well as well and played great defense on lamelo ball in the clutch. Watch the games so you not guessing and saying anything like this horrible take.
Yup Mccain already has playmaking ability that reddick never sniffed
good
Another good analysis. I think we need some different dudes on the floor after a certain point because the offense runs out of ideas and gets stagnant and predictable.
Thanks for watching! We definitely stagnant at times but I think with the same personnel we can also run different things
good breakdown
Thanks for watching!
his first dunk will break TikTok
Jaw dropped he even tried attempting that one 😂
@ it won’t be long
Did it lol
And jfyi is “Yabu-sell-ee”
Ah sorry! Learn a bit everyday thanks for letting me know
His movement has taken such a leap in just a couple weeks. It’s insane. He looks like Steph Curry out there at times. And the playmaking?! Like what? I had no idea he had that in his bag.
The playmaking shocked me the most its legit
Great breakdown. The composure is really the most fascinating aspect. Never seen anything like it from a Sixer rookie.
Super rare for any rookie, especially one and dones out of college
Great video
Thanks for watching!
@@PlayByPlayFilmBreakdown you should do a video on how he and Maxey fit when he comes back. Exciting!
The dude is relentless. So refreshing to see. Plays at 100% every time he's on the floor. We need more of this in the league
Someone said it below but the combo of relentlessness but also composure is so impressive. Just never out of control while maintaining crazy pressure
dyson been in a new element since the olympics
Australia loves ya Dyson !
He should coach Giddey.
@@wouldlovemyownname 😂 summers in australia
@@PlayByPlayFilmBreakdownas a bulls fan, he really should😂
He is incredible at absorbing physical contact. Offensive players always looking to create the contact but its a trap, cause as soon as they do, he has a knack for stripping it there
@@xavirik4828 yea i think this is what i noticed the most watching him against brunson (someone who makes his living creating space with contact), just really being able to stand his ground
He has great defensive composure. Never looks flustered. Locked in at all times when on the court.
@@tomoliver2961 totally agree
Leads the league in steals and deflections and second place isn't even close!
Insane, the instincts are ridiculous
@@PlayByPlayFilmBreakdown No one since 1990 has averaged more than 3 steals/game and he's on pace to do just that
Third game in a row with 6 or more steals today. He's breaking records and he's only 10 games into the season
Dude this is unreal
