ED looked to buy my party/ball event biz in Scotland in late 80's. Drove up to Edinburgh in a Bentley with some sidekick...can't recall why I turned him down, was young and stopped doing it not long after. Was fun times/era, I used to go to the London balls, some fabulous memories.
