The Kensington Home by Ledbury Studio
Our client undertook a major two year refurbishment of her beautiful Kensington house spanning seven floors, which included the installation of a very necessary lift! "Australian Scandi" was how she described her design aesthetic to Charlie, reflecting the cool simplicity of Scandinavian style, but mixed with the Australian warmth of her native country.

The small space in the utility room has been fitted throughout to incorporate a washing machine, tumble drier, large fridge/freezer and tall pull out cupboards for additional storage, making optimal use of this small area.

In the master ensuite bathroom the theme is continued with a pale washed oak vanity cupboard with patinated bronze handles. The wall cupboards for storage are framed in hand painted mirrored glass either side of the basins picking out the colours of the wash basins. The design of the furniture in the kitchen is carried through to the media room to include fitted alcove cupboard glazed with opaque bronze glass, a built in TV, and fireplace surround crafted from diamond quartzite and patinated brass.
