Mix is more resonance & girls usually does it becayse it doesnt really change how the ears perceive the pitch. For male however it would almost break the voice & can go out of tyne unless the pitch is really high. Below the G4 (i think) males will always belt the notes naturally.

loved everything about this video but what I loved more was the fact that at the end you said that it takes about 2-3 years to build a strong mixed voice 🥲I really needed some reassurance on that! helps me stay motivated to keep pushing and building it instead of thinking that I'm not making progress :) thanks so much for sharing

I have a question: if I’ve been producing a sound from my throat (speaking and singing) my whole life, will a proper “placement” feel like like it’s in a lot smaller of a space?

This helped me so much and feels soooo good. I don’t feel anything in my throat when I do this so I know I’m doing it right! Now I just need to try to feel this when singing bel canto

I don’t know why my mixed is so much lighter and softer than my belt. The moment I start to belt it comes out so explosively (i scared some people practicing 2 days ago, and had to stay away from my mic)
