im at rock bottom of the pit. nervous and mental breakdown after i got sober and a life of trauma and no coping skills . my body has failed and its torture being in it still. I cry out to God daily to help me .
it will get better, give it time, rest. hugs.
Im sorry to hear you’re suffering right now, @@144emeralds. Leaning into your faith daily is powerful, especially when it sounds like you’ve been through alot. These periods of life can take their toll, your body, heart and mind is extremely resilient and knows how to process all of it, id suggest leaning into any support systems you have. Perhaps lean into what helped you get sober because that is no small feat. Even though you feel your body has failed and you have no coping skills, all isn’t lost as you have the privilege of accessing the internet which is full of support and coping skills, and it seems you’re healthy enough to be able to engage ❤️🙏🏼 I appreciate you sharing with us, and be glad to help in anyway we can. Wishing you the best 🙏🏼

Diagnosed with Burn out 8 years ago. Experienced symptoms like @TheMoncelina. Slow slow recovery but even now after being retired for 6 years I still have odd days sometimes months apart that I have day when I cannot function. Have learned to give in to it and rest. I find it hard not to think that I am lazy. I related to what you said about multiple factors as the cause. Being part of the so called 'sandwich generation along with a pressurised job as leading a team of social workers didn't help. People used to say you'll be fine when you give up work, not so, and they did not understand when I tried to explain, the pandemic helped as burn out was discussed more. I loved lockdown at the time as there were no pressures on me. Didn't help in the long term as I had to learn to reconnect with the outside world!! It's now not one day at a time but one month or more at a time. Thank you for your video and help.
Oh dear, where should I start. It didn’t occur to me I might be burnt out until I got some medical issues occurring more and more. I’ve been grinding my teeth at night, had panic attacks during the night waking me up, sleep apnea, palpitations (I also have an arrhythmia so it didn’t occur to me it might be burnout too), headaches, muscle tension in upper back and neck, fatigue, weight gain, inability to feel happy or excited, performance at work dropped massively, irritability, brain fog, and these are just what I can think of immediately. I know it seems like I’m over exaggerating, like I’m some special snowflake looking for attention, but when I got to depression, anxiety, panic attacks, isolation, pain all over my body, issues with my gut, heart, head…it wasn’t funny. I’m getting better, very very slowly. But you have to put in the work, probably not on your own, but definitely with some professional help, trust me. World nowadays is so difficult and complicated but you don’t have to suffer! ❤
Hi @TheMoncelina thank you for sharing your experience with us. It doesn't sound like an exaggeration at all, and certainly not a special snowflake looking for attention. I hope we can shift the narrative here to one of compassion (societally). Symptoms are real and shouldn't be normalised. As sorry as I am to hear how much you've been/are going through, i'm happy to hear you're slowly getting better. A strong support system is essential. Thanks again for sharing ♥
I love this.

rage and grief and loneliness and aloneness and PTSD flashbacks consume me my soul is raped the man I revered as my best friend, raped my soul he abandoned and betrayed and discarded and replaced me over the past 15 months (almost 16), while I've been desperately trying to heal from the loss of him and from the trauma that he's caused me... he's been with my replacement, making all of his wildest dreams come true! the pain is truly debilitating and paralyzing completely unfathomable. do we really create your own reality, (even before we incarnate into this world)? if so, why this? this morning I read a quote from Lao Tzu, went something like: God gives you the people you need, not the ones you want. utter bullshit? or truth?
Thank you for your comment @GodHelpMe369 I’m sorry to read about what you are going through right now. I wish I had all the answers to prevent suffering, but what I do know for sure if that seeking support in challenging times from loved ones and/or professionals can be a game changer. And in relation to your question, I think it’s best to go with the answer that brings you the most peace of mind and that which leads to the betterment of your wellbeing ❤️🙏🏼
Thank you, Charlotte for this enlightening episode! The discussion on creating safe spaces and the power of simply asking "How are you?" was so impactful. Just sent you a DM on Instagram. Keep up the amazing work! #MentalHealth #RedefiningMasculinity

Dr perry your information has improved my quality of life so much! Such a simple, quick fix and its FREE!!!! God bless you and thank you so much! You are amazing! ❤❤
Something i strongly encourage you to look into is Inositol also known as B8 it comes in powder form, totally natural and studies unanimously show people who suffer from anxiety. Depression, panic and stress all have low levels of Inositol. If you are stressed, try taking 1 to 3 grams (maybe less at first) and check the time. You should notice a major relief within 10 to 20 minutes. It is also used for a female ovulation condition PCOS? Which is something i don't know about. But it is supposedly a natural wonder remedy for obsessive compulsive disorder. Its natural, safe and fairly cheap. I tried the NOW Inositol (Myo-Inositol) and noticed benefit right away. I enjoy your podcasts. Maybe you should think of mentioning they are for anyone trying to improve. The Corporate Female leaders kind of limits your audience. I understand that is your target group but I'm sure you want others who are looking for answers to hear who might get intimidated at the introduction. Just a thought I just think it would greatly increase your viewership. But serious please look into Inositol. Glycine is another inhibitory neurotransmitter. Meaning its a big help to many for sleep and stress as well. Look into both but Inositol is the real gem in my opinion.

@@thewellnesstheory thank you for your reply, I will check them out :) I was also wondering if you would be interested in making a video going in to depth on the different typ of burn out? I found that part really interesting also because I believe depending on what type of burn out you have there is a different way of healing too. Because "work related burn out" is the most common one but the "emotional and physical" is not very written or talk about and I would love to hear more about them. Would you might consider it?😇 Have a grate day. ☺
Can you please list the book she is referring to? She said something like the " Mind body approach to healing, but nothing comes up with that exactly and numerous other books. I think she mispronounced it. If you are aware of the book could you please list it. Thank you
Thank you for your comment @ezekieljeremiah8575. The book being discussed was called 'The Way Out: A revolutionary, scientifically, proven approach to healing chronic pain' by Alan Gordan.

Facinating 🙌 was having this exact conversation with my business mentor yesterday
It makes such a difference when we're working to support others in these areas doesn't it?!
Hi Charlotte & Jonathan, Love this breakdown of the ways of breathing and what each does and does not do... And to hear about Jonathan, how your deeper explorations through breathwork led to pain relief but a more broader liberation of some dormant emotional and mental potentials... Meeting you both a few times now, I am appreciating seeing your continued evolution and growth in this field. That you have not turned into oversimplifying pundits but ever wiser guides that help folks to better discern ways to evolve their relationships to health makes me very glad and happy to continue to refer to your work over the years.
