I use a pair of gardening gloves with rubber tips. No lacerations and better control. I tried the bionic finger and It's hard to get a good cast with it.

to keep from braking the line on casts on the spinning real I use 65@ braid, on the conventional i use 20# running line with a 65# top shot. the top shot needs to be on the reel when begining the cast

that is a low surf day on the North California beaches. Anything under 4 feet is a calm day😁

Why are you using garbage bags? You just need a food safe 5 gallon bucket and lid, which are available at Lowe’s or Home Depot. There’s no way those bags are food safe. Also, I never add water to the WSM for poultry, I use sand and run it hot towards 325. Makes for crispy skin.

This is the right way to teach a young hunter the ropes. Sitting in the open woods and teaching them to watch on their own rather than hunting where you don't have to stay vigil. This young man experienced the woods as well as the hunt. Good job, dad. Good job, Brandon.
