Criticality Scoring for Assets and Facilities
In this video, we combine both the facility criticality score (link: th-cam.com/video/8rWGOfla5Dw/w-d-xo.html) and the asset criticality score (th-cam.com/video/j8gvqPf6khc/w-d-xo.html) to return a more robust overall criticality score. Weightings can also be used to adjust the combinations depending on the circumstances.
Large organizations have many different stakeholders, each of which has their own information requirements. In previous videos we considered how managers may utilize the facility scores to help with their decision-making processes. Field staff, on the other hand, may get more value from the asset criticality scores

Criticality Scoring for Assets
มุมมอง 4.3K5 หลายเดือนก่อน
An asset is a single, consolidated piece of equipment such as a pump, or an assembly within a building, such as a roof. In a portfolio of many hundreds of assets, all the assets can be considered important since they collectively support the organization's objectives. However, some assets have a more direct impact on our service delivery. For example, a pump that fails could have an immediate i...
Criticality Scoring for Facilities
มุมมอง 3.7K5 หลายเดือนก่อน
A facility is either a single building (such as a pump station) or a group of buildings (such as a treatment plant). Just as an asset hierarchy arranges assets into functional levels, a risk methodology also considers criticality scores at different levels. These different scores provide values for our different stakeholders. For example, our managers may require criticality scores to make reso...

Pairwise is a well-established technique for deriving relative weightings for a suite of decision criteria. Pairwise analysis, also known as pairwise comparison, is a process for deriving the weightings that can be assigned to each of the five consequence of failure categories or the sub-criteria within each category. The criteria are compared against each other in pairs i.e. two alternatives a...

Swim Lane Diagrams and the Process Mapping Toolbox

There are different ways in which work flows can be mapped. Swim lane diagrams represent one of the most common and intuitive methods. Each role is assigned a parallel "lane" where the assigned responsibilities are mapped within each lane and the interfaces across those lanes.
