@@jackechambers You're just showing your pathetic ignorance of the man. He was a merchant venturer, and mainly carried goods and merchandise across the Atlantic. Yes, on his many voyages, he did occasionally carry slaves, but he was not a slave trader. He became very wealthy, and repaid Bristol with huge philanthropic donations, that's why so many buildings and works carry his name. But now, as Anthony says, The Pc's, woke brigade, BLM and an assorted bunch of wasters (sorry, students) who probably don't even live in Bristol, want to change history. As for the bunch of anarchists and rent a crowd, that tore down his statue on the city centre, maybe one day, they'll all grow up, or better still, ship them to the Middle East as white slaves, a fitting end to them.
