It's interesting to hear Danny do both his own and Chuck's parts. He does great, but I miss the three singers.
He doesn't come close to Chuck's version.

In 2019, I saw Three Dog Night at a small venue in New Hampshire. It was right before the pandemic. They were great! I loved their concert! At the time, Danny & Michael were the only original members still in the group. Last year, Michael stopped performing with them, so Danny is the only original member still performing.

Danny Hutton does not capture the emotion of the song the way Chuck Negron did. Fans of 3 Dog who care about the music cannot accept this version in place of Chuck's. Danny is great but Chuck is a far better singer.
