Hello, can I use your video for promotion?
Great Video!
🤣
Ive seen pics of this bike with and without rear rack. You dont have one on, but did it come with one?
The V3 came with a rack. You can get the SU7 with the rack, but I bought it without. Next summer, I will use the rack to do some camping.
@jubalblake777 thanks. I have the V3, but everything is failing on it now, so I will just transfer the rack, assuming it is compatible...
@@sebumgold3108 I will go check right now...that you mentioned it....I was assuming.....YES, TOTALLY COMPATIBLE! Mounting spots are in the same place.
@jubalblake777 thanks so much! Very kind of you to check.
is this with action view? 157 degree? what do you think compared to Ace Pro 1 ? I have the Ace Pro 1, thinking to get Ace Pro 2 because of wider FOV, but not sure it is significant different.
I don't think the 6 degrees, more of fov is huge differance. But I am glad for it. The two reasons I like/bought the pro 2, is for the low light recording and the wind guard! Those are awesome Features. However, My favorite camera is the 360 One RS, Dual Lens. Using the 360 Lens...you can Never Shoot a Bad FOV, and you can adjust that to what ever you want.
@@jubalblake777 Thanks. I like my Acepro 1, just wish FOV would be a bit wider. I bought it also for lowlight, and color just looks so good out of the camera.
The colors really pop on this camera. Im between this camera and the dji osmo action 5. Go pro has lost me with the 13
I've got a pile of GoPros....but always had issues with them.
Which bike is better? What kind of range are you getting in them? Thanks 👍
@@adammcbride6159 Well, I think the SU7, is a better choice, because of the options it offers. Mileage I think is probably, pretty close to the same. The majority of off-road rides I do, is in Pas 1-2 & sometimes 3. I generally ride it off road, that's what I bought it for, but performance is best obtained, on road . On the SU7, I got 52 Miles on Pas 1 "ONLY". Top speed 6 mph . I would say 23-28 is average. But I live in hilly areas. Going uphill in Pas 3, (18 mph) or Pas 4, (24 mph) eats the battery quickly. Flatter ground is not so bad. If you are riding in steep areas (15% grade), above Pas 1 on the SU7, it will overheat and shut down for 5 minutes. SU7, is Still my first choice.
I don't think the noise is from the crank. Sounds more like a derailer issue. From your other video it seems to only happens at the extreme ends of the cassette (very low or very high gear). I think if it was in the crank it would happen pretty much in any gear. Good luck solving the issue.
My first thought is the noise is coming from the derailer/cassette.
Check ur chain with a wear indicator. They wear down over time u might need a new one. If the chain is too far gone you most likely need a cassette aswell.
Thank You for the info!!! I aprreciate it!
Check the teeth on your 12th gear. That sound usually comes when the chain "jumps" and that happens when a tooth on the gear is worn. If the teeth on the gear looks like a shark tooth or is curved you need to change that gear.
Thank You for the info!!! I aprreciate it!
I have a 2000w dual motor smlro xdc600 heavily modified. shunt modded both controllers, upgraded all the power wires to thicker gauge. It runs two 52v 30a batteries and gets about 100 miles on mostly pedal assist. Tops out at 44mph. If I use the throttle often I'll get maybe 55 miles of range. Need any tips with it let me know💪
Wow, that is nice! 100 miles also! very Good!
Is the motor stopping on the hills in dual motor mode as well? Were you able to get it fixed so it does not happen again? I am about to pull the trigger on this bike but I am also looking at the Philodo H8, Zeegr S1/F1, wondering if they will do the same… Thanks
@@BhengMibudy Yes...it still stops on steep hills after a period of time. I'm sure it is pulling a lot of amps through the controller board and the board is inside water resistant housing. So I think it is overheating. After a few minutes it takes off again. I really bought it for El Dorado Canyon. It doesn't pose a problem there. No steep hills. There is also a Freesky warrior pro, dual motor. Could be interesting
@@jubalblake777 Thanks for the reply. Did you have the same issue on the SMLRO V3? I have looked at the freesky, but trying to go as cheap as possible 😭
@@BhengMibudy I did not have that issue with the V3. There are two controller boxes, one for each motor, and the controllers look like they may be bigger. ( handle the amp pull without overheating). However, I had issue on V3 with controller getting wet in El Dorado Canyon. one section has a 1ft 1/2 deep water, all year round and the winter has many more areas like that.
@@jubalblake777 thanks for those details, I think you just sold me on the su7. I live in the PNW and looking forward to months of rain ahead so the water resistant features of the su7 seem great. I live in an area with hills if I want them, can go flat all day too. I checked out some of your other videos and you going 34+ mph gave me chills so I think I’ll be good with that speed!
@@BhengMibudy Awesome! I do think it's a great bike for the price. It was cheaper than the v3, and I like it better. I think the pedal assist is stronger and I like , that you can switch, between single and dual motors. Have fun!
I have a similar bike and experienced the same overheating issue with the rear motor controller on steep hills. Like you, I only used the rear motor to save battery. I think using both motors in certain situations might help prevent the rear controller from overheating. What do you think?
Yes..I agree. I will still do some more testing. I live in a hilly area...but that is about the steepest. Not to worried. I get what I pay for. Still fun. :)
Thing is weak should go right up
yeah...china bike :) But still fun. get what you pay for.

i rode this loop - came from tahoe/ truckee- thru reno - down the 580 to the 50.... took the normal route up (not the soft truck route), up to virginia city and down 6ml canyon rd (i was close on 60mph down there). back via Dayton. had food at the roadrunner cafe. and the back up the 580 to reno/ truckee to tahoe city.... it was nice - but on a normal road bike
Wow! That is awesome! How long did it take and how many miles did you log on that ride!

@@noodles169 Thank you Very Much! 😍 I agree, he had guts. Climbing with rope/gear, is scary enough. Yes, this bike so far, is awesome. I don't think electric is much good for dirt bikes, cars, but pedal bikes...yeah!!! Thanks for watching and thanks for reply. I will post these videos normal. Not 360 view. Easier for some people to watch...but longer to edit. 🤪
X-ranger is a piece of crap all sensors stopped working on day 33. Amazon and carbinox will not replace
So whats the difference between the su7 and the v3? They look exactly the same🤔
@@noodles169 SU7 has ONE, water proof controller box. V3 has two plastic controller boxes. SU7 cables, route inside the frame. SU7 has a motor switch, to change between rear wheel drive and dual wheel drive. Makes a huge difference in a Rocky environment, where both wheels are working. I could pedal through Rocky sections on the SU7, that I had to use throttle assist on the V3.
There he goes again trashing RZR"s
Where I live in the UK we do not have an area like you are to dirt ride looks great fun little envious but enjoyed your video
thank you for watching
You UTV hater!
Bunnies everywhere, Oops Sorry little bunny!
What a workout!
Yes! Makes for a nice Ride. Thanks for watching.
What did you mean by linear mode? is that a pedal assist setting?
The normal setting in the controller panel is 0-5. I have it set 1-5, so there is no neutral. (0). If you change the parameters in the control panel, to 1-3, it makes the pedal assist linear, from bottom to top, just by leaving the pas on 1, and begin pedalling, the bike just speeds up accordingly to pedal input/gear shifting, without changing pas. I actually like this better, but I am not sure if that is causing issues with controller, as it is not ment to be in that setting. 🤔
What kind of range are you getting on average using pedal assist and if you use it what do you get you use the throttle heavily?
Well, I just haven't done a real good range test, I am always in the dirt and try to stay off the street, but I am estimating approximately, 6-7 miles difference from heavy throttle, to more peddle assist. In my canyon ride, I get around, 26-27 miles. I rarely get past pas 2, except a couple of areas. I am going to do a street ride pretty soon, from one town to the next, but I will be maxed out most the way on pas 4-5. The weather here has been rough again, so not many videos lately. In summer, I will probably be posting weekly on the electric bike & of course, dirt bikes! Thanks for watching. I do Want/Need another battery, to get the range I desire.
We have some nice places to ride and explore but it has been raining or gale force winds almost all year so many areas are soggy and water logged
This is Bike is insane
the only way you have the possibility of getting 35miles is if you never go above 3 on the pas and do not turn on your head lamp. that is with a 22.4ah battery.. speaking from experience. i have a green v3 ss.
Awesome! Yes, I agree. When I go in El Dorado Canyon, I do have to use throttle assist quite a bit, to get over rocks or power through water areas. It was wishful thinking/hoping that I would get the range I needed. However, as far as I can take it, and back, is still a blast! I'm always worried on my motorcycle, if I break in El Dorado canyon, I'm walking home. Then I have to find help to get my motorcycle out. If e-bike breaks. I can push, or peddle it home! 🤪
It would be better if you can activate the front wheel through a switch for when you want it and when you don't
Hi what kind of REAR suspension is this ?? Adjustable or not ? Thks
Never seen a person push or walk up a bike up so many hills.. and its 2wd bike!
Well, if I just wanted to twist the throttle, I would just ride my motorcycle! 🤪 The whole Idea, is to Pedal, as much as possible!!! Exercise and distance. Getting more from the battery. And remember, if it looks a little rough on camera....it is way tougher in real life. 👍🏻
Have had contact with the rear tire and controller? My WIRED FREEDOM EBIKE did until I relocated it to the front of the frame.
I haven't had any issues
I absolutely love this bike. One of the best bang for buck ebikes on the market. Great commuting bike, and superb trail bike. Im still trying to figure out the control settings though. Id like the peddle assist to kick in a little bit quicker when taking off, without having to use the throttle. Once your buddy buys an ebike, he will never go back to a normal peddle bike lol
Yes! After playing with every setting, 🤔, pas does not start right off the bat. The quickest response of course is, starting in pas 1 and gear 1, then shifting up accordingly. I did find if you changed the pas settings in the menu to 1-3, the pas just becomes linear from bottom, all the way up, without changing pas with +/-. I like that setting actually in mountainous terrain. One less control to focus on
Got the exact same bike, and the torque is insane for an ebike (95nm) each Motor, which pulls my fat ass up any hill with ease. only problem ive had, is the battery doesn't seem secure, so i put a strap over it, to stop it from rattling around
I did the same thing. I put velcro straps around it. It still rattles, but a lot better.
I'm thinking about buying one of these but I have a few questions and am curious what your experience has been. First, in the first unboxing video you did you mentioned that that rear suspension felt harsh, so now that you've ridden it on rocky trails and dirt hills do you feel that the rear suspension on this particular bike is worth having? Second, since the rear suspension allows the tire to pivot up, have you had any problems with the tire hitting or rubbing against the rear controller box when you come down on it hard? Third, have you had any trouble bottoming out on the other controller box or getting it wet? I just feel like both locations were horrible for controllers on this design but maybe it's not an issue. What has your max range been like as you go through trails like the canyon? PS - thanks for the videos, have watched all of them multiple times trying to zero in on a bike that will be suitable for me and you're about the only one posting videos of it getting decent action off road.
Well, I think it was worth the money in comparison. But definitely not without issues. If you have the money, maybe check other options. My biggest appeal, was dual motors, which works awesome in the canyon setting. There are not very many dual motor e-bikes. 1. The suspension is harsh on anything but a smooth dirt road. Maybe a bit better than no suspension, but it is not quality as far as soaking up the rough stuff. 2. I have not had any issues with tires hitting control boxes or them hitting rocks. Maybe the not bottoming out on rocks, I've been lucky, but not problems. 3. I did get the bottom controller box wet in that one, deep water section in the video. It stopped doing pedal assist, coming out of the canyon, but I still had throttle assist with front motor. After controller box dried out, pedal assist works again. 4. I haven't been riding it lately, because the head bearing are loose. I haven't taken it apart yet to see if it just needs to be tightened or replaced Most people will not abuse it like I do in a rock filled canyon with water. 🤪 Thanks for watching, I hope to get back at it soon. Snow here now. That should make interesting rides.
Edit: I just got to the point where you mentioned this version does not have the voltage option. I know I could replace the display with another unit but that would be a pain so I guess that means I can either budget a display replacement or look at the Philodo H8 or Keteles which has the older frame style since they are all essentially the same bikes, or at least they were until your new V3 style which I like the lookout more. It figures, I guess you can't get everything in one, your bikes styling, the features of the old monochrome display but with the updated color screen. Thank you for the video! It's a sharp bike. Prior Comment: I haven't had time ty to watch all of this yet but I'm looking at this bike currently. The V3 changed the display / computer. The old version had a voltage read out instead of just battery bars so it was possibly to have a better grasp of how much battery charge you had left. Is that readout still on the new display or is it only the battery bars?
I could only get it to show battery bars. The manual says I can show voltage, but I haven't been able to get it to do that. Thanks for watching
@@jubalblake777 Thanks! If you do find it please post an update showing how to get that info. Even if it only shows on screen temporarily would be enough. It is one of the items on my list of must haves to purchase. I live in a rural area with miles of bike paths running through forests miles away from roadways and housing. Knowing accurate battery levels is extremely important to me which has made E-bike shopping a real challenge. Showing voltage is the best way to get a truly accurate idea of how much battery life is left otherwise you only have the guess-o-meter/bars to go by. I appreciate your time, thanks again. Enjoy your new bike!
I will try again and email the support at the company. See if I get any more info from them. Your welcome. Sounds like you have a great riding area. 👍🏻
Those are extra power springs. 25% and 50% more power/ stiffer than stock. Helps lower the trigger pull weight. Start with the trigger spring, reduce power striker spring and reduced power safety plunger spring First because some glocks come stock with a "- minus" connector in it... Then measure your pull weight. Then change your connector last if you feel the need to do so
