Sorry about the Verticle Video, I'm not insane I swear.... Anyways heres my CB175 that i picked up last fall, put new Ebay mufflers on and cleaned it up as best I could. It runs well for its age and is a great bike to get around KU.

2008 Mazda 3 2.0 air conditioning belt replacement WITHOUT TOOL
มุมมอง 67K9 ปีที่แล้ว
2008 Mazda 3 2.0 sedan A/c belt replacement without the guide tool. works on sedan and hatch. I used a zip tie threaded through the hole on the larger pulley for the guide, and then around the pulley to hold the belt while rotating it on with the lug nut wrench
perfect time
Bro, I'm looking for the screw sizes for the compressor on my Mazda, would someone have the measurements since the car doesn't come with the compressor, that's why I don't have a sample.
That mount the compressor to the vehicle?
What the ingredient?
Whiskey and Irish Creme

I run synthetic oil and the spinner cup still grabs all muck same as when I used mineral ?
Not as much.. Synthetic oils have detergents in them that keep particles afloat. The spinner likes mineral oils because it needs particles to clog together.
99%+ of the oils sold have a detergent package added. You have to search to find non-detergent oils. It does not matter if synthetic or pumped from the ground, centrifugal force will spin the particles whether they are clumped or floating all by them self. Centrifugal filters are surprisingly effective. It is an interesting product, but may not even be necessary. Half a century of production vehicles ran without any filter at all. The 350 does not have 'plain' bearings which are more particular about the quantity of particles floating around in the oil. Ball and roller bearings are more forgiving and are not pressure lubricated, having oil 'drizzled' onto the caged components. There is pressure to the cam and rockers in the 350, and the cams run in plain bearings. I do not see the need for the grub as the area around the filter housing will be sealed by O-rings. Been too long since I have looked inside...
Just a curiosity if mine. Why would you add the filter? The stock spinner has no restrictions, so this being a restriction will decrease oil pressure. The stock pumps are anemic, this may tax it even more. I am also curious why people add oil coolers, the guys that race these don’t use oil coolers, at least by me. My race bike uses the stock oiling system, with no issues. Todd Henning Racing which is one of the premiere cb350 and cb450 race parts companies doesn’t sell any oil mods. These bikes only real oiling issues is they burn up the cam and rocker. For that point alone I would try to eliminate restrictions.
I've spoken with multiple people that have run them on the street and not had issues. It will be nice to run synthetic oil now as well. I plan on keeping the bike and think it's good insurance
@@xxDOTH3DEWxx what would be the issue with running synthetic oil with the spinner?
@@andrewf8486 synthetic oil has detergents that keep debris and particles from sticking to the filter cup. Conveniental oil is mineral based and helps the debris to stick.
I run this conversion for over 10 years now on the street... Together with full synth oil (after a full rebuild including new cam and followers). Oil comes out much cleaner and no sludge in the engine anymore. No cam problems so far and the lobes and followers still look brand new.
Great tutorial!
Was trying the zip ties and got a little flustered because of the serpentine belt. Took a break and watched your video and realized I could loosen it up.... Thanks man, much appreciated 👍👍👍
Hey man I’m about to change the ac compressor on Sunday, do you know the belt size for the ac? The ones I keep seeing are 66 bucks for the stretch kind, I’m trying to go cheaper then that, would a 5 grove serpentine belt work just as well? Is it 26 inch belt? Any help would be appreciated
I just bought a CB175 for $250 that has been in storage since 1975, original owner, original title and last registered in 1974. Im stoked. Its in near mint condition with 927 miles on her. I ordered carb rebuild kits, engine gaskets, new chain and tires and brakes. Theres very little lacquer in the tank from old gas. Still shiny inside. Im stoked about this one. Theres a little rust on the exhaust but thats it. Ill have it running in just a couple of days. Did I say I'm stoked? I can't wait to get it going. My dad had one when he was in high school, he's 70 now, I'm giving this to him for fathers day.
That's awesome man. I ended up selling this bike back to a previous owner, and ended up buying a '71 CB350. My dad rode one to highschool. Have fun!
Im watchimg this video because there is a 1971 honda cb175 for sale in my town running and driving very clean for $2000 is this good?
2000$ is a fairly good price. If the paint is in good condition and there's no rust, then I would go for it. If there's any defects I would try and haggle down to around $1800. It all depends on what you're willing to pay. I sold this bike for $1650
@@xxDOTH3DEWxx 15k miles on it. Im going to go look at it thanks for the info. I know there not easy to find all original now days but if he will go down to 1650 or 1800 i think it would be awsome to own one
I have the same bike
I've since sold it and restored a cb350
@@xxDOTH3DEWxx I'm in the process of getting a cb350 myself.
Joebug55. Want to sell yours?

Wow man God bless you, the zip tie technique worked like a charm. Thanks a bunch
It's funny the older I get I the more I see beauty in bikes I used to hate in my youth.
The design and lines are just pure. In my opinion.
You miss the mw2 game chat lobby's but there not gone, Modern Warfare is the spot now, hardcore in particular. I make the best "toxic" trolling videos with the best reactions. Just trying to spread some videos to people I know who would be interested in them. Adios bro.
What belt size is it?
nice job!! Im fixing my girlfriend a cb175 as well, so she can use it in Lawrence.
That's rad man. I got plenty of help to give if you need it. I sold my 175 and now have a 350
Thanks ill keep that on mind, right now I'm waiting on a couple parts. I personally ride a cb200. How much did you sell the 175 for?
@@vicentegarcia07 $1650. I didn't have that much money into it though so it was a good deal for me.
I wish Honda would return to making these w fuel ⛽️ injection.
Been thinking that for years. Check out the Yamaha sr400 if you don't mind singles
cbunk47 I have checked out the Yamaha SR 400 & 500. Almost bought a 2018 Suzuki tu250x (Retro bike).... but I’m so in luv w Honda! The Retro CB1100 is way 2 big & $$$$ 4 my needs.
how do you ride without mirrors ?
Peek over your shoulder
@@xxDOTH3DEWxx Seems sketchy.
@@chrispeterson1247 haha it was. I've put mirrors on since then. And sold it lol
Zip tie worked perfectly. Only issue a little tough removing after use. Thanks for the video and tip
i am to change out my wifes belt and was going to get that gate tool, glad i didnt now that i watched this. i have plenty of zipties to spare. thank you!
i just reversed my mazda up a tilted curve so i wouldnt have to remove anything fyi i guess. just make sure to pull your e brake
I'm planning on replacing alternator and re-using stretch belt as it looked pretty good. How to get one off without damaging it, just carefully pry it out with a screwdriver while turning the crack pulley with a ratchet? I wonder what else they come up to take more money from car owners, this stretch belt bs is just ridiculous. Officially they say belt is one time use only so if having to do some repairs that need removal of belt(s) new ones should be bought every f'ing time even if belt is new! I see no other benefits from this than more money for spare part salesmen.
YoStu use a rag over the ac belt ( creat a U with it) .while turning the crankshaft pull rag. Should come off.
You're a freaking Genius!!! Thanks! turned my 1 hour headache into a 1 min job!. Zoom Zoom!
glad to help
I'm trying this out this weekend. Not too difficult to get the old one off? I guess you could cut the old one off.
I cut it. it's easy. reply with any questions
This trick worked like a charm for me. You can thread the zip tie through either the slots on the pulley or the hole. It may appear that you can't get the end of the tie between the pulley and the engine block but it will fit. Make sure to pull the zip tie tight when the belt is in place. Then just turn the crank pulley and use your finger to push the belt so it lines up with the pulley. Super trick. Thanks, Cole!
+Jay Thomas no problem and glad i could help. figured if i didn't have the tool then other people didn't either
